That means it was made October 2022. so these are over a year old already. Id say if your paying £6.50 per battery you should at least get batteries within a year of manufacture. Energizer said they have a life of 5 years so are ok till 2027. As i sent them photos they said these were the old style batteries so this is old stock, be warned. Another thing i dont like about these rechargable manufacturers is they make it so hard to see when these batteries were made. Its not on the packaging, but on the battery itself. problem is you cant see the battery till you open it up out the package as its a cardboard box package so you cant see it till you open it. Quite conveniently not showing dates on purpose i feel.
