How do I open it in order to fit a new handle?** A: If its same model as mine, there is no latch, so you just need a way to physically pull that side of the door away from the machine to open it. If you have enough of a handle, just grab it firmly (or with pliers) and pull gently. Otherwise try to find something in the space left by the broken handle to grab hold of and again, gently pull. It should just pop open. Remember to be gently and not damage anything other than already broken handle! Unfortunately the design of the handle means that the same problem is likely to rear it's ugly head again, well before the rest of the tumble dryer packs up. This is the perfect replacement and was very easy to fit, just by using the original three screws (you will need a star type screwdriver attachment, rather than a Phillips or flathead). I just hope that Bosch redesign this type of handle for their next range of tumble dryers, as it really is too flimsy for regular use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, fast delivery, cheap, OEM *by D***E on 10 October 2013* Exactly what I wanted. Perfect fit, because it's OEM, easy to fit. Doesn't come with instructions but it's very simple to figure out. To all the people who said its hard to get the old snapped off pieces, simply dismount the door (2 Torx screws, then push upwards to remove the door from the machine. Then unscrew 3 Torx screws by the hinge, and however many by the handle that aren't broken. Then, the inside and outside of the door separate (you have to unsnap the two pieces, there's 6 or 8 snaps, not super tight. Then you can hold the old broken pieces with pliers.Reverse steps to reassemble. 10 minutes and done. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does not appear to be a genuine Bosch part *by J***E on 21 December 2019* I do not believe this is a genuine Bosch part. It has none of the moulding markings that the original had - in fact it has no markings at all. Also, the finish is not quite as bright and shiny as the original handle, and it is slightly greyer in colour. That said, it fitted perfectly and when in place looks just like the original, other than the slight difference in colour and shininess. Five stars for delivery.
