The best cocoa powder! My husband likes a cocoa drink before bedtime. I’ve been using Valrhona for years. It’s the best. No sugar so add a sprinkle if you need it.

Valrhona cocoa powder
I wanted to try this very cocoa powder because I read amazing reviews about it and how good it tasted. I have to say it was a rather underwhelming experience. For starter it tastes exactly like DeZaan Crimson Red, except it costs about 2.5 times more.I use cocoa powder to make my own chocolate and I wanted to try Valrhona after reading that it is one of the best in the World.The cocoa powder has a beautiful redish tone to it and it has a very deep cocoa flavour. Exactly like DeZaan Crimson Red.It was a nice gift for myself but definetily a one off purchase. I'm going to stick to DeZaan.It's worth to note though that the cocoa powder is coming from a 3rd party seller. They dispatched it right away, so there is no complaint abt the seller, in fact it was a very good experience w them.Do I recommend this cocoa powder? No. Simply because it is massively overpriced and overhyped and it won't deliver what you expect. But it's worth a try maybe once.
