The matte black finish looks good! This is an all black pen weighing about 32.5 grams and 140 mm when capped. The cap with an octagonal finial posts well but a bit heavy at the end. The pen comes with a piston ink converter and 3 ink cartridges. Click-0ff- cap with a nice click sound ! I like the medium nib which is black too and a nice logo. Overall a good fountain pen to posses !
