Ritec After-Care for Shower Glass

Great product im a professional cleaner in private houses so I have to b careful which products I use. U can't use normal descale on self clean showers but this product u can . Its expensive but does the job without taking the self clean off the shower glass. Mattie recommended it.

Yes, it's almost obscene to spend this much money on a shower product but it was recommended by Aqata the suppliers of our shower screen for ClearShield coated glass, and, having spent a considerable amount of money on the screen we were keen to follow instructions to keep it looking good. We have used it for over 8 years, once a week, and the shower screen looks as good today as the day it was installed. We are also very careful to 'squeegee' it after every use. It is impossible to tell whether it is our careful cleaning with this product, or the ClearShield coating itself which has resulted in our limescale and grime free shower glass but I swear by this product. One bottle lasts me a year (as said previously, used once a week), so I consider that good value. Also worth mentioning it is also available form other suppliers but Amazon was by far the cheapest. Shower manufacturers do sell it, branded with their own name, but then sell it at an inflated price. It is not effective at removing limescale build up on non-ClearShield Coated glass - it is a preventative product. Ritec do make a product specifically for Limescale Remover but if you have ClearShield coated glass you shouldn't need that!

Having had a new shower fitted with Clearshield protection I purchased this as the recommended product to use. Initially I was cleaning the glass after every use with a window vac and e-cloth with excellent results, no marks what so ever. Then I used this product for what I thought would be a proper clean. It took ages to get the product off completely as it left spray marks that were difficult to remove. The glass looked ok at first glance but on closer inspection it hadn't done a very good job at all, back to the window vac and e-cloth for me. As I say I used this on a new shower it may work better on a shower that has some hard water build up. Update. Having used the product a few times now feel it fair to upgrade from 2 stars to 4 stars. I stand by the above comments but have found that a combination of this product, window vac and e-cloth do an excellent job. Not only that I have noticed that after using this product the glass seems to stay cleaner for longer.

It’s expensive but makes a huge difference in glass longevity & limescale prevention

This is just the best product for cleaning the shower a bit pricey but totally worth it

This product was very easy to use and the shower looked bright and clean after I had used it. The spray on my previous cleaner was difficult to use and only sprayed a very small area.

My wife has said wow what a great product !!!!!
