Good thigh support
Okay, so I reviewed this item before buying & saw that the main issue was it slipped down the leg after using but I gave it a try regardless as i was in such discomfort. Why you ask - well I'm a postie & my body aches in places you would never believe. One of these places was my thigh. I must of strained the muscle during a round & I was in agony. I initially thought it was my hip deteriorating however (luckily) it's a thigh strain. I've had this 3 days now & my leg is so much better. It still aches but these injuries take ages to heal if you rest & I don't have that luxury. The support does slip but that's during an 8 hour delivery walking, driving. £20 well spent.

Well made with firm support
Good quality and gives firm support but can come loose sometimes

Great support for the thigh
This support is easy to fit around the thigh. It needs to be tight - top strap first, and then re-adjusted if necessary. I put different gels (voltarol, deep relief...) on my thigh before so I suggest a tubular support bandage and/or trunks (underwear) to protect the support material. Again, make sure it is tight (but comfortable) so that it doesn't slip.

OK but does not stay in place.
As others have said, this rides down. You need the knee support as well to keep it on your thigh. Otherwise it won't stay in place. With the knee support, 4 stars. Without it, 2 stars. Easy to fit, to adjust, and to wash.

Just the job.
After a thigh strain I was looking for some sort of support, and this is absolutely ideal. So easy to fit, and is great quality. Highly recommended.

It is useless.
There is only one problem with this product - it is useless. I think that I have a fairly normal male anatomy that means that my thigh tapers from groin towards the knee. No matter how tight I try to tighten this support, even with assistance from my wife, as soon as I have taken 5-steps it has fallen to my knee. Unfortunately, I disposed the packaging when it arrived, otherwise I would have returned it as it is not fit for purpose. Perhaps if you are completely immobile and sitting all day then it may have some purpose.

Works well if you get it right
You need to find the level of compression to keep the strap in place. Too little if falls, too much it’s uncomfortable, but if you get it right, it works very well. I use it to help me following a hip replacement. It provides support and gives me confidence.

Good quality
Very good quality binds well with the Velcro straps although you do need to be a bit ambidextrous or simply get someone to help, only kidding your be fine.
