Good quality and value for money

This type of folder are now quite hard to find in newsagents, or the national-branded shops (WH Smiths, etc), in small quantities, where you might expect to find them. In years gone by, I used to get my from branches of Staples, on the retail parks, but those shops don't appear to exist anymore. So, the solution I went for was to buy a bulk pack, of 25, from Amazon. They are supplied in a fairly-stiff printed white-card box, slightly larger than A4-size and just over 2 cm in depth; and, inside this is a sealed in a plastic envelope-type bag closed with glue-strip, which appears to be reusable, and the folders are stacked in compact-pairs: with one folder turned so its hinge is towards the left and the next one's hinge is turned to the right - but all the folders all have their hinges on the left side. The box has perforated marks on one end, which you could break to make an easy-access flap, but I just opened it at the other end to lift out the contents. The folders themselves are made out of light-weight plastic sheet - red in my case for the back, the 'hinge' and about the first inch of the front cover. I believe blue is also available - I have blue ones, but not from Amazon. The front cover is clear, but dimpled, so the top page of whatever you put into is visible and readable from the front. There is also a white, write-able strip down the length of left side the front, you you can write on it in ball-point pen to provide a contents summary. The files have has a metal-strip to hold the papers. So, to insert papers into it, you need to either use two-hole punched paper (two holes 8 cm apart), or punch your own holes using a standard office hole punch. I have folders with perhaps a stack of A4 papers 15 mm deep, which is about the limit a folder will hold. As I said above, these folders are lightweight and inexpensive, so filled folders placed, say carelessly in pile, might get creases and the corners turned over; but I not so far had any teared folders.

The folders were perfect and fit for purpose

If your bias is for cheapness as against quality then this is the folder for you. If however, you are looking for the latter then I suggest you continue doing so.

Great file

These folders by Q Connect are just the right size to keep A4 sheets of paper neat even in plastic sheets. There are 25 in a pack making them excellent value for money and, unlike other project folders, they cover the documents without being too short on the right side.

Good quality A4 document holders. I use with poly pockets. Repeat purchase . Good strength to the outer and holds up well. Highly recommended.

Buen producto , aunque con una calidad ligeramente inferior a otros que he usado anteriormente no deja de cumplir su misión de contener documentación aunque por este motivo y la forma de uso que yo les doy es fácil que se deterioren antes de lo previsto . Si lo es así volveré de nuevo a comprar por qué es un artículo que yo uso con frecuencia
