Muc-Off Disc Brake Cleaner

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My disc brakes were howling on my Diverge gravel bike. I tried so many things, new pads, sanded them, sanded the rotors, alcohol, etc. nothing worked. I bought this out of desperation because my brakes sounded like geese being squoze. lol! I sprayed my discs and pads twice and the howling is totally gone. Maybe a tiny squeak on release. So happy!

Works great cleaned everything up real nice no more loud noises just what I needed or wanted and I will buy again.

Maintenance with ease. I hate dirty brakes. This was the solution.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out these things work amazingly well. They quieted down my air horn of a break in no time flat. Highly recommend it

Don't let this anywhere near your brakes or discs. I keep my bikes (mountain, road and gravel) pretty clean. Brought this a few weeks back and had used it to on my bike after I had cleaned it. First ride after using it I hit the brakes and they barely worked and squealed like a stuck pig. I had to stop an clean the discs with my glasses bag and it stopped the squeal a bit and they performed pretty normal. However for the rest of the 40km ride the squeal didn't go/burn off. This was an absolutely dry ride. No rain/water on ground. Normally absolutely silent. When I got back I cleaned the discs again with this. Dried clean with a new microfibre and paper towel. Did this twice. Tested and the massive squeal came back.... The only time I have heard worse was when I spilled a gel on my rotors during a ride. I do about 12,000km a year and have never had anything this bad. This is on rotors and pads with maybe 1500km on them so nothing wrong there.
