Yes, it is a completely separate bucket with its own lid and a lip to hang it onto the main toilet seat. It pulls out easily and has a carry handle.

Were do you empty these toilets when camping ?

It comes with a lid so you empty at an Elsan point or you could take it into a toilet block and empty there

The mysterious extra black part doesn't fit, does it matter?

The extra black 'bucket' piece fitted in the main grey portable unit in order to remove it to clean.

Would this be a good size for a potty for a toddler in 4-5 clothes? A normal potty is to small for my son
