Very good quality metal sieve

This seems a well made sieve. It is very similar to one that I have had for 20 years except it is painted rather than galvanised so I don’t suppose it will last quite as long. I much prefer the wire mesh over the thick plastic on some sieves. We also have a plastic sieve and it gets clogged up when I try to sieve compost while this wire mesh one performs much better.

Not sure how "sheerness" applies to a metal sieve? Product was purchased to clear stones from a section of garden prior to sowing grass seed. It is well made and strong, manufactured to enable sieves of varying sizes to sit on top of each other to grade the earth.

I bought this so I could clean up a large gravel bed that had been spoilt by a layer of mud left by a careless builder. I used the sieve to separate out the mud so I could re-lay the gravel and restore the clean appearance of the area. The size of the holes made it perfect for its purpose, the mud dropped through leaving the gravel ready for a quick wash over. The price is very reasonable. The small outlay probably saved me half a tonne of top-up gravel (about £50) .

Never had to use one of these before but decided to rearrange my garden after having new fencing so needed to get loads of ornamental stones out of the soil before digging over. This riddle did the job with ease, very sturdy and the holes are just the right size to keep the stones in and let the soil out. Very pleased.

A bit heavy, but ok in use

Bought this to riddle the soil and compost in our raised beds after emptying them of plants. Does a great job of separating the stones and roots. Item seems well put together and really sturdy, should last a while. Will be a useful tool.

Good value sieve. Does the job. Perhaps a little less sturdy than I was expecting but perfectly useable.
