Great product. It really works well producing lots of ice cubes very quickly. Cubes are easily ejected from the tray into the storage tray below. Simple.

A brilliantly simple device, essentially, a frame to hold two conventional ice trays, with a handle to twist them end to end when frozen. The far end of the ice tray will only revolve through 180 degrees, and as you continue to twist the near end, the ice tray warps and the ice cubes fall to the tray below. A freezer with a built-in icemaker would be more convenient but cost £1000 more and wouldn't fit into our kitchen! You need to be careful of spillage from the ice trays when loading the device into the freezer. I have to tilt it slightly to get it in my freezer and then the water spills. If you already have ice cubes in the tray below, this water collects there and then obviously freezes all the cubes together. I therefore use a separate ice bucket and only put the tray into the device when I'm about to eject the ice cubes. What would be nice would be if the trays could be covered to prevent spillage whilst moving the device, and then the cover removed once inside the freezer. I'd certainly highly recommend this device to improve your ice making capabilities.

Replacement for my new Beko fridge freezer icemaker. It's not as sturdy as the one which was built in in my old freezer but pretty effective. Would recommend.

Fantastic product. I purchased this for my new fridge freezer as there wasn't one included in the model I purchased and if I wanted to buy one direct from the manufacturer there was a 4 month lead time!! They aren't cheap but in my mind worth every penny

Der ICE Mate ist einfach toll. Wasser einfüllen, ein paar Stunden in den Tiefkühler stellen (wenn er schon drinnen war geht es viel schneller), drehen und man hat die Eiswürfel zur leichten Entnahme in der Auffangschale liegen. Drei Partien passen locker rein, eine vierte mit etwas Geschüttel auch noch, und die fünfte ruht derweilen in der Form. So hat man ca in 36 Stunden 120 Eiswürfel produziert. Diese sind etwas kleiner aber von der Form her sehr schön. Auch könnte man die Würfel dann in einem Sack oder einer Box weiter aufbewahren, ohne dass sie zu einem Klumpen werden. Ich bin begeistert von diesem 'Kleinen' Helfer, wenn er auch größer ist als ich mir gedacht hätte. Das einzige was etwas knifflig ist, das rein und raus schieben der beiden Ebenen, aber mit ein bisschen Übung, geht das dann auch. Toll ist, dass man die Lade zur Entnahme einfach ein Stück herausschriebt und die Eiswürfel dann ganz leicht mit einem Löffel ins Glas befördert, sehr hygienisch. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir. Ich hatte zuerst eine Eiswürfelmaschine um 140€ bestellt, diese aber aus verschiedenen Gründen zurückgeschickt und dann bin ich durch Zufall auf den ICE mate gestoßen. Gott sei Dank, denn erstens ist er um einiges günstiger und tut seine Arbeit fleißig ohne im Weg herum zu stehen oder noch zusätzlich viel Strom zu verbrauchen. Ob die Menge für eine Cocktailparty reicht, dass glaub ich nicht, aber für den normalen Hausgebrauch ist er perfekt. Er nimmt allerdings die Hälfte vom Eisfach eines Kühlschranks in Anspruch, das sollte man bedenken.

È un ottimo attrezzo per la fabbricazione del ghiaccio. le due vaschette producono cubetti piccoli (ca. 2,5 cm di lato, 12 cubetti per vaschetta), e sono molto facili da rovesciare nella vaschetta sottostante (i cubetti escono dal formaghiaccio tramite semplice torsione delle manopole esterne). La vaschetta portaghiaccio può contenere due "carichi" completi di 48 cubetti, e può essere estratta completamente dal formaghiaccio per essere portata in tavola. Non ho riscontrato nessun lato negativo, a parte il fatto che ovviamente è più ingombrante di una classica vaschetta formaghiaccio (e produce cubetti più piccoli). Molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto, lo ricomprerei senza esitazione.

Wat een misser. Het vullen met water is erg, erg lastig. Het laatje komt er erg moeilijk uit en is lastig weer terug te steken. Tot slot moest ik ook nog 9,80 euro betalen om het retour te sturen, bijna de helft van de aankoopprijs van dit waardeloze item.

Génial pour faire des glaçons. Seul bémol, prend assez bien de place, dommage parce que j'ai dû en renvoyer par manque de place :(

Je ne sais plus m'en passer. Achetée depuis longtemps, cette machine facilite la vie. Idéal pour 3/4 personnes pour avoir toujours des glaçons à disposition. On peut préparer des glaçons à l'avance quand on reçoit. C'est vraiment top. Je m'en sers tous les jours un indispensable dans son frigo. Atteinte d'une polyarthrite, il m'est tres facile d'avoir des glaçons grâce au mode de fonctionnement
