Its a "Thumbs Up" ... This curling wand gives small defined curls .... The iron does get "hot" and retains its heat so "Be Careful" ... Make sure you use the glove provided maybe you may feel you do not need it once you get the "knack" of the style you are trying to achieve .... Like with "anything" new just pereseve, practice makes "perfect" .....

I was disappointed with this item and am not convinced by the product’s electrical standards being met for the UK/EU. There was no plastic cover on the plug pins and there is no formal branding, company accountability in case of problems other than a non-commercial email address. I returned the item without problem and received a refund.

I found them very tight but noticed you could adjust the thickness so you have the choice

States it is suitable for long and short hair. I have just had my long hair cut short and needs to be styled. I bought this because I thought it was a basic curling tong which I could add some extra waves and texture to my style. When it arrived I discovered it didn't have the expected scissor type bar which you would grip your hair with. Instead you have a glove which you are supposed to put on and wrap your hair to the pole. Except, my hair is short and I can't wrap it around with my fingers at this length. Totally useless for short hair and much more fiddly than the old style curling tong. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I like this curling iron! I actually havn't tried using the clamp yet like a normal curling iron, I've been using it like a wand. It comes with a heat resistant glove which is super handy (careful, it can still get hot, but definitely helps!!!). Makes really tiny, tight curls. Heats up fast, and there are 2 heat settings. I would recommend this curling iron if that's the look you're going for! The accessories are a bonus, too :)

Exactly as pictured. It has square barrel. Easy to use. 3/8 give small tight curls if kept on longer. If you keep strands for short time it will not be too tight. Also it is only for retouch of rebellious strands as I already have naturally wavy /curly hair.
