So far so good - but watch sizing
I have got through A LOT of bike gloves over the years and these appear so far to be very good, based on 3-4 rides in 3-4 degree UK winter weather and at least one very wet, drizzly ride (9 miles each way to work btw). Not the worst weather for a UK winter, but getting there. In fact as some have said, your hands get almost too warm. Nice problem to have. My previous go to winter gloves which seemed to beat every other in terms of warmth were a pair of increasingly worn out ski gloves that I bought (I think) at Halfords many years ago. The key thing they had - like these gloves - was the 'proper' Thinsulate lining. I think there are some imitators out there but as far as I can work out, the proper stuff is made by 3M, and labelled as such, as on these. As cyclists will know, apart from the basics of keeping your hands warm and dry, you have to balance this with actually being able to use your fingers for the brakes and gear shifters so it's no good just buying thick winter gloves, which I have also tried - you can't operate your bike very well. The old pair of ski gloves achieved this balance brilliantly - very warm but very mobile - have not yet found a pair to match them. But they were not very waterproof at all, unfortunately. So only good for very cold - but also dry - rides. I wouldn't say these are the most manoeuvrable in that regard, being quite stiff, but they're better than my last effort - a pair of 'waterproof' gloves with woollen ones underneath. Irritating to put on and off, clumsy on your hand, and on the last wet ride both completely soaked through. The one thing I would also mention is that as others have said, the sizing is way too small. I bought the Large on this advice and they are pretty tight on my very medium-sized hands (I'm bang on average male height and size all round really) - so watch out for that. I was even thinking of getting the XL on the basis I may still need to wear woollies underneath but, happily, don't think I will need to. I also like the bright high-viz backs, if you get that version. Yes, I am not too cool to use hand signals. I cycle right across London most days - enough said. Will edit this review a few months on to let you know how they are bearing up.

Be careful with the sizing!
A warm glove although I feel they may be a bit 'sweaty' when the warmer weather arrives. They have a slightly clammy feel as if breathability may be a problem. A good buy for the price though. My only gripe is with the sizing information. Had I not asked the question to other purchasers, I would have gone for large. My hands are not particularly large and the extra large are perfect. A better way of sizing would be desireable. It can't be that hard!! Update; Been using these for a couple of years now. Warm enough when dry inside but my initial fears were justified. They get very sweaty and hence lose any warming effect as it is like putting on wet (and smelly) gloves. I sometimes give them a 30 sec microwave before going out in cold weather but when sweaty the fingers become too hot to wear. The stitching has come away on one finger and inside there is what appears to be a disposable nitrile (or similar) glove layer which would explain the lack of breathability and also the method of waterproofing.. Hard to dry when wet as fingers very hard to turn inside out.

I wanted warm gloves
These gloves are great!! Unbelievably warm. I’m 6ft 3in with fairly big hands and xl fits me perfect. These gloves feel quite bulky at first as they are pretty thick and padded but soon got used to them. The thickness of the gloves make them very comfortable on the handlebars. Early morning is only 5 deg but thats not really cold enough, hands sweat during a fast cycle with plenty effort and the gloves are not breathable, i have other gloves which are breathable and hands still end up soaked with sweat, guess i’ll need to either take it easy or move to the North pole to get the full benefit. Rain seems to have no effect on these gloves. If you want warm gloves be careful what you wish for!,

Ok, but sweaty and touchscreen doesn’t work. Also fit true, not as stated in size chart
Firstly, the size chart is wrong. My hand measures 21 cm, which the chart says is medium. But based on other reviews I ordered a large, which is correct or even a little tight. The fingers, however, are a touch too long. They are bulky gloves and quite warm, though my fingers still got cold ycling in O degrees C. I switched back to wearing mittens over normal gloves, Which worked fine. Secondly, they are sweaty. I suspect they are completely impermeable, though I have not tested them in the rain. But the problem in the freezing cold is that if you take them off for a short while, your wet sweaty hands freeze, which is then difficult to recover from. Maybe that is why they supposedly have touchscreen pads. But they do not work. Thirdly, the touchscreen pads do not work, at least on my iphone SE. In summary, okay for the price but I should have paid more and got better.

Perfect for cold and wet conditions
I cycle to work everyday, and with the increasingly shortened days I needed gloves that keep me visible, comfortable, warm and dry. These gloves are perfect for all that. The evening after receiving these pair of gloves it happened to rain heavily and so I was able to test these gloves under cold, dark and wet conditions. The first thing I noticed about these gloves were how bright and visible they are under dark conditions. Upon putting on these gloves the first thing I noticed was how warm and snug they are. The grip padding on the gloves helps in having a much firmer grip than most other gloves I have used before. I brought XL sized gloves which suited my hands perfectly, despite the fact that I normally wear L sized gloves (having read previous reviews on Amazon for this product). The gloves are entirely waterproof and will keep your hands dry as you're cycling through the wind and rain. An added bonus, and one that I only discovered when cycling, is that when you lift your hand to signal whether you are turning left or right the yellow/green padding on the gloves help to show other drivers your intentions. The gloves are that visible. I would recommend these gloves to anyone who cycles, and in particular to those who cycle at night.

We just got 2 feet of snow. I was out playing in it for an hour. These gloves kept my hands warm and dry. I purchased the medium and they fit good, the finger tips have a little room. I have small hands, but I think the small gloves would be too tight. They are nice looking and comfortable.

Excellent gloves for the price. Our Winters are usually fairly mild with temperatures dropping into the low 20's or below only occasionally. During the Winter I mostly do night rides (mountain biking) and the only problem I've run into is keeping my hands warm once it gets down to freezing temperatures. These gloves keep my hands toasty in the 30s and I'll drop a hand warmer packet into each glove down to the low 20s or even high teens. They are bulky but I really don't care at these temps. Anything above 40 and they are too hot. They do a great job blocking wind as well. My hands do end up sweating a lot when I wear these gloves, regardless of the temperature. I have a DryGuy boot and glove dryer that dries them right up though. I do toss them in the wash periodically and after multiple seasons they still look new. Of course I only use them on the coldest days/nights so your mileage may vary. I normally wear medium gloves which are snug but comfortable. Based on other reviews, I ordered these in size large and they are perfect. Sliding a heat pack into them along with my hand is a pretty tight fit but it works. They do the job I wanted them to do at a reasonable price so I'm happy to recommend them to others with the same needs.

I bought these to ride my bicycle this winter in Northwest Arkansas. My usual size is a large and that is what I ordered. They are snug, but I think they may relax a bit. I would not want gloves that were to big and sloppy so I am happy with the fit. These gloves are warm! I was out only about an hour the first ride with them, it was in the 30's and my hands were toasty. I am sure that these will be adequate for much colder weather. I am glad I bought these.
