Amazing drive and very universal with plenty of space for the files you need to keep or transfer.

Works as expected. The dual USB-C and USB-A design is convenient, and the 128GB capacity is practical. Transfer speeds are good and it feels reliable overall.

I'm using it with a desktop PC AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor in a USB4 (USB-C) port. It's fast! The SSK thumb drive is formatted in exFAT and my Roku TV has no problem reading it. All good! But here are a few things I don't like: The plugs fit tight. I mean, really really tight. It takes a firm grip to push them in and remove them again - from any socket. This of course raises the concern that I'll either break the socket or break the plug. The metal casing is smooth and slick which makes it difficult to grip. A small textured design on the surface would have made this task easier. There is no cap for the opposite end so you'll always have one end exposed making it susceptible to dust and damage. The drive becomes noticeably warm within just a few minutes of use. However, no fires have started. 😊 I like SSK and have switched over to them from another leading brand that I had been using for years. SSK have proven reliable in the short time I have been using them. Their drives are well built and have survived being dropped on the hard floor. So far, happy enough with my purchase.

It is not as fast as I wanted it to be, but its all-metal, solid build makes it handy.

These did not work out for me, and I had to return them. Both the type a and type c connectors seemed slightly out of spec, physically, in that I could not achieve a good connection to several laptop and phone devices with either interface format. Purchased from an alternative company that also has the letters s s and k in its name, and even in that order, and those fit perfectly. Paid more, to be sure, but at least I can use them.

I have mixed feelings about this drive, but the company made it right. For the first 6 months, this drive was a beast—fast speeds, quiet, and worked perfectly. Then, out of nowhere, it just failed. I was obviously panicked, but I reached out to their support team. To their credit, the customer service was excellent. They didn't give me the runaround; they just verified the issue and sent me a brand-new replacement unit immediately. I really appreciate a company that stands behind its warranty. The Bottom Line: I'm giving this 4 stars because the support was 5-star, even though the hardware reliability was a bit scary. It works great when it works, but please learn from my experience: do not keep your only copy of important files on this drive alone. Use it, but back it up!
