Easy to use
This sealant removal tool is well-made from hard plastic. The tip is very sharp and did a great job removing old bathroom sealant. Using a sealant remover paste for a few minutes before using this tool made light work of the job. Being plastic, I don't know how it would stand up to professional use but I guess they're cheap enough! Fine for the DIYer though. I recommend this product.

Good enough for some tricky jobs!
My whole house has parts that now need resealing, bathrooms, the kitchen etc. I picked this up based on the reviews and well, why use a Stanley Knife or some other multipurpose tool when you can have a tool for every single job you can think of!The Good* The build quality feels nice and solid, theres a little flex in the stick and on the tip of the horn point on the top ridge which i wouldnt want to drag too hard but nothing especially worrying.* There are a features to this, theres the snow plough type end for getting stuck right into existing sealant, theres a horn on the top which you can use to drag sealant out of tricky crevices and then there is the sealant smoother on the other side.* I used this as per the picture to take out some old sealant on the edge of my bath which had cracked, most likely under my not inconsiderable weight stomping in and out of the tub.* Its nice and easy to get into gaps, i didnt use a liquid sealant remover for this little job i just used the tool. I like the sharp horn, it was pretty useful in getting into the gap between the tile and bath. The Could be better* As said i didnt use any liquid sealant remover for this job based on the size of it, if i were doing all round the bath or when i come to other jobs ill probably use the tool in tandem with a sealant remover just to speed things up.* I havent resealed yet, im hoping to drag that into next weeks job list... so i havent used the smoothing edge.* Whilst there is nothing with this little tool at all, as stated in other reviews you could i imagine do as good a job with a sharp stanley type knife.Overall i would recommend this, its a specialist little tool, a good price point and seems to be very durable. Why have one tool when you can have twenty! If you dont like removing sealant and want to make life a little easier then i recommend picking one up.Four Stars.

Sealant remover tool
Being woman of certain age this job would not be one I would normally tackle but had someone only a few months previous renew the sealant on shower but it failed within months and I thought I could not do a worse job so had a go. Watched all the YouTube videos and got the basics so ordered this tool and the accompanying paste by same brand and took a deep breath...... and began. This tool worked so far as you can see in the pics, but I am a perfectionist hence the little pliers to really get every last bit of old sealant out (think this is where previous attempt had gone wrong). Took a good while but oh so satisfying if the sealant came away in a nice long strip. I would not have been able to get job done without this handy little tool. I think this tool will come in hand for a variety of other uses too as it is plastic but strong

Didnโt Work for Me โ Might Need a Remover Gel Too
I had high hopes for this tool, but my first attempt at removing the silicone around my bath didnโt go as planned. Unfortunately, it didnโt seem to lift or scrape the sealant very effectively, so I couldnโt get the results I wanted. For context, I live in a new build that I moved into about three years ago, so the sealant was applied around that time โ maybe thatโs why itโs so tough to remove. Iโll be ordering a proper sealant remover gel to try alongside it and will update once Iโve tested that combination. For now, Iโm giving it 3 stars, as Iโm not sure if itโs the tool itself or my technique that caused the issue. Slightly disappointed, as I thought it would make the job much easier.

Made a laborious job a little more pleasant.
A useful tool to have by you. Made removing old silicone around our bathroom lino easier to remove (I usually wing it and use a large flat head screwdriver). Some of it didn't want to budge. But this tool helps to cut through the several applications of old silicone and lift it up, so I could scrape away bit at a time, until it had all gone.Made a laborious job a little more pleasant.

Strong plastic and comfortable to hold
Removing old sealant from a bath is a time consuming and tricky job. I've tried hacking it out with a razor and melting it out with a dissolver; neither was successful. This tool doesn't look much. It's plastic, but strong and I found it comfortable to hold. The remover end has a point and wit habit of trial and error I found the best angle to get under the old sealant, push and lift. I didn't use the smoother end on the bath, but I tried it and it seems effective. For the price, this is a useful gadget and not a huge loss in terms of cost if it doesn't work. Overall, it's a clever idea and I'm happy with it.

Cheap bit of plastic, not fit for purpose
Was really disappointed with the tool. Removal side is supposed to help cut and scrape away the old sealant but the plastic points completely blunted within about 2 minutes of use removing standard home bathroom silicone. Basically useless and couldn't remove anything effectively. Plastic is not a suitable material for the job - you'd be best off getting a metal tool or using a stanley knife. Cheaply made and not fit for purpose, had to return for a refund. Difficult to use once blunted as you have to use a lot of force to get it to break through the seal.

Not a good product. There are much better ones for less price
The plastic scraper went blunt after only a few hard scrapes. Not worth the price.
