Presto Canner Pressure Regulator, Pack of 1, Silver

It's an essential item for anyone with a Presto pressure canner, very happy with it. Although Presto sell this 3 part jiggler weight with smaller canners as standard, they only sell the 23 quart canner with a 15lb jiggler and you have to buy the 3 part one separately 🤷‍♂️ which makes no sense Presto.

Excellent customer service I had a slight issue with my order which was dealt with quickly and efficiently I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from here again. This weight has been brilliant for my presto canner and means I don't have to keep such a close eye on it once it reaches the correct pressure.

If you have the Presto with the regular 15lb weight, this is a game changer!, presto gauges are meant to be calibrated every year, this is not possible in the UK with no extension offices, the weight means that even if you gauge happens to be faulty you will always get a jiggle at the correct pressure, Also much less babysitting trying to keep the gauge at the correct pressure, adjustable to 5lb, 10lb and 15lb it is ideal for the UK which due to elevation requires a 10lb weight, unless you live above 1000ft. The 5lb is good for fruit, reviewed by "Preserving and canning UK" on facebook.

I bought this because the 15lb was too heavy for where I am, it's great it comes in three separate parts and you just set it as you need. I found having the correct weight made balancing the pressure on my canner much, much easier.

arrived just as I had put the canner on to use so was really happy that this arrived earlier than expected. In use and so glad I purchased this for my presto

love it I can take off the weights I need for the pressure that is needed for i.e. 5- 10- 15 lb psi

Using this saves having to monitor the pressure like a hawk.

I bought mine awhile back and found out my sister didn't have this so I thought I'd ease her mind. This works so well.

Get this. It will make canning so much better and easier.

This is a second one I bought. First one was much cheaper off brand and it was horrible. I should not have tried to save money. First one covered my presto pressure lid with rust after just 1 canning! It wasn't well made stainless steel probably. So I bought this one and it worked great! My presto pressure cooker came with pressure gauge. First one broke after 2 canning times. Then a few months later the second one got stuck on 5. I didn't want to spend $20-30 every few months on pressure gauge. So I bought this weighted pressure regulator and I am never going back to gauges. Less babysitting needed and the weighted presto regulator doesn't just inform me of the pressure I need during canning, it actually regulates the pressure. I love it!!!
