Since this universal cover was too wide for my 2017 Fit, I had to trim both ends using heavy-duty scissors/shears. I used a paint can to trace a nice curve on each end so that it fits the contours of the bumper. My wife helped me so that there were enough hands to expose the tape & stick down the cover while maintaining the right position. We marked both the middle of the bumper & of the cover and worked our way towards 1 side and then the other. It's been a few weeks, including some rainstorms, and so far so good. Very pleased. From the package, it's bubbled, folded, & separating from the rubber. As is, it'll be impossible to get it to apply smoothly and flatly.
