WALI CCTV Dome Fake Camera with Flashing Red Light, 4 Pack, White (SDW-4)

I bought this prior to a new cleaning team coming into our home for the master bedroom closet - we keep a few items that cannot be locked away easily. I'm a 65 year old female with some knowledge of drywall screws (used my own, but those in the kit would have worked). I installed it on the 9 ft ceiling, putting the batteries in first. It's been a month and the batteries are going strong (flashing red light). It does look realistic, and gives me a sense of security. It's easy to see due to the red light. I had no issues installing it. If the battery is short-lived, I'll update my review and mention the length of time they lasted.

Looks great. Looks real! I installed to the ceiling with some simple little two sided velcro picture hangers. I just wanted to add a perceived camera view of my foyer and home office/desk for when my older kids have strangers in the house when we are out of town. None of my other real cameras have a blinking red light so I didn't even install the batteries. Perfect!

PROs- The blue "WALI" label is NOT printed on the black outer ring of the cameras I received - thank god, as I think that label doesn't look like a typical security product brand at all and would take away from the idea of faking a real security camera- I think the price (I paid $17 for a set of four) is pretty good (although the "was $99, you're saving $83" is pretty pathetic marketing as for that money you could get at least two real (basic, without motor - but still real) cams :)So So- Looks pretty real, although I wish they had added a ring of IR LEDs around the camera lens for more authenticity (I'd even pay a little more for that)- I like that it has a blinking LED but...- I'm not sure if I've actually ever seen a real dome cam with a blinking red light (which is why I didn't even bother installing batteries)- There is a spring mechanism which allows for pushing the transparent sphere a few millimeters into the case - I don't know why, but at the least they could have made that an ON/OFF switch for the LED (the mechanism doesn't appear to have any functionality, but please let me know if I'm missing something- Ideally (and I would have been OK with paying a bit more) the blinking light would be motion activated so that it doesn't waste battery when it blinks all day long, and such an activation would also add to making the product appear live and realNo actual CONs (which is why I'm still giving this product 4 stars)By and large, I think it's a very good first line of defense - I installed one on each side of the house, high enough to not be reachable without a ladder. My second line are a couple of real (wireless) Foscams inside the house which are much easier to deal with (and also less expensive) than real outdoor cams which typically need cable installation. Those stream the contents to the cloud (so even if a thieve finds and grabs them I can see and publish their faces), and I can access the videos anytime even from the phone.

Perfect purchase! Everyone thinks it’s real lol now I can receive my delivery packages on time! Pop in batteries and enjoy.

They look real. BUT you have to screw them into the wall. Even heavy duty 2 sided tape won’t hold them in place

Arrived a week earlier then expected and performs as advertised

I bought these dummy CCTV cameras to use at an empty property. They look surprisingly convincing once installed and from a distance you wouldn’t easily know they were dummy cameras.They were easy to install and I had no problems with them.Very pleased with the purchase and they do exactly what I wanted them to do.

I got this to mix with the real CCTV camera that I have around the house. It comes with instructions, and it also comes with parts if you want to install it directly on the wall or you can also use the 3M that it comes with for easy install. The LED red light is visible and the motion detector works really well. Anyone that comes around my house, looks at these "cameras" more than they do with the recording CCTV.

Han llegado, super rapido. Facil de Colocar.. Simulan perfectamente a una camara DOMO. coloca la pila AA, y wala,,, listo. la luz LED roja es intermitente.. es perfecta. Hace su funcion. y sobre todo buen precio.
