This Rite in the Rain Waterproof Copier Paper 8512 is costly but ideal for my purpose and I have used it for many years. As a swimming teacher I use pre-printed forms for every lesson and take notes on the side of the pool using a simple clip-board. By definition the poolside is wet - also I need the board to be close to the edge of the pool so I can lean over with my wet arms and write on it with a 6B pencil. Children walk over it (well they will, won't they) and drip all over it, sometimes it falls in the water. So what - it survives and I take home the record of their achievements. An A1 product.

This really is waterproof and is brilliant for printing downloaded maps to take on runs/hikes. The only downside was that it only works on laser printers (inkjet ink being water-based won't stick!)

I bought these for drying stamps, in place of a Showgard book. Much cheaper and seems to work, but I would prefer a thicker weight, perhaps 150 gsm. Delivery was an issue, since the driver decided NOT to use the door bell, which would have alerted me, and then managed to get the notice in between the outside and inside flaps on the letter box so that it did not appear until the papers turned up on Sunday. Otherwise it would have taken another couple of days before I got any post.

Had these soaking under a tap for 5 minutes and they were perfectly fine. More difficult to tear than say 100gsm paper but can definately be ripped.

Rrubbish Quality

I have been using the Toughprint waterproof paper products for many years. I thought I would give this product a go because the Toughprint product is fairly expensive. The Rite in the Rain paper does work, but it is no where near as robust as the Toughprint product. That said, I guess it depends on what you want to use it for. This paper was purchased for pre-printing Search and Rescue Casualty Record Cards. It's OK but it does tend to become quite flimsy when it's been used in the rain for some time and writing on it becomes a delicate affair. However, if you just wanted to print some map extracts or prompt cards, and they didn't get too wet, this product would probably be OK.

Excellent for printing waterproof notices and cheaper that other similar papers. A bit thinner but that doesn't matter in practice.

I use these for printing questionnaires etc on with a laser printer for fieldwork data collection. They are superb. Work perfectly in the rain and are more resistant than 'normal' paper to creasing and general student rough-handling. Once you have used these you'll always want to use them!

Aeration of the paper is very very very important. Take the paper and flip through the pages a few times flip it over and flip through it some more and you’re ready to print.

Bra vatten[beständigt] papper. Klarar av vattenstänk och duggregn.

Zwar nicht ganz billig, dafür sind die Folgekosten für selbst gemachte Logbücher für Geocaches deutlich geringer. Im Gegensatz zu kunststoffgebundenen 'Stonepaper' kann man dieses Papier auch mit einem Laser bedrucken, der Farbdruck ist auch ok.

Excelente calidad, impresionables en impresora láser y luego escribo en lápiz. Súper prácticas en actividades acuáticas y bajo la lluvia, Imprescindibles. Muy contento!
