Works very well. Not quite as efficient on “moist” items….turns into slush. But chops chicken, peppers, veggies very well. Easy to use and clean. Recommend

The BEST Kitchen item I have ever purchased! Maybe the best purchase I have ever made on Amazon. I roast potatoes and carrots for my dog. I make a large amount in each batch. I would chop the potatoes and carrots by hand using a sharp knife. It would take longer to chop the potatoes and carrots by hand than it did to roast them. After making a batch I said that there had to be a faster way to do this. I thought back to an old nut chopper that my mother had and wondered if they were still made. I went on line and found this item. It is not the same as the old nut chopper. It is far better. After purchasing the OXO Chopper, the time it took to chop the potatoes and carrots was reduced by 80%!! I could not be happier with this chopper. It comes with a container that houses the unit and a removal bottom so you can dump out whatever you have chopped. I find that the best way to use it to take the bottom cover off and chop the Cs and Ps on a cutting board. That allows me to quickly move the chopper around and to put even more under the blade to be chopped at one time. When you depress the striker, the blade comes down and when you release it the blade comes back up and turns slightly. This is a great feature! Cleanup is easy. It disassembles and can be placed in a dishwasher or washed by hand. Again, this OXO Chopper is great!

Works reasonably well even with 3 cloves of garlic. And can definitely accommodate whole large head of garlic cloves at once. So you just peel the cloves, stuff them in the can, connect the top and start chopping away until cloves have been minced in to very small pieces. Then you have all this freshly minced garlic in the can ready to go without the mess, in to a pot or a skillet, very convenient with very little mess since all the pieces are inside of the can. Sure beats cutting bunch of cloves by hand, which is inconvenient, messy and slow. Some pieces would get stuck in the Blades, but it still works fairly well and it will definitely chop up everything else that is similar in nature. I love the can underneath it with lid, love the fact that the blades rotate. And it’s really cheap. The Blades are really sharp so be careful well-made products inexpensive get the job done really well.

This is one of the best purchases we have ever made. We use it everyday. Chops as fine, corse, or chunky as you want. Because it’s manual, you have total control. Clean up is a breeze. A quick rinse is all it takes. Never touch the blades as they are SUPER sharp ! But you should never need to touch the blades. They just rinse clean under running faucet. We chopped parsley, onions, zucchini, peppers & garlic for our stuffed peppers. Could never chop so well, so fast by hand. This is very sturdy & durable. Everything we own by OXO is fantastic. Don’t bother with cheap imitation choppers. They break right away & are flimsy. This chopper has never given me any problem. It’s cute & small enough to leave on my counter for quick use.

I am not love with this tool, but in certain use cases it can be handy. Like many kitchen gadgets, it gets put away on a shelf, largely forgotten until that one time a year when it gets to shine. The most important things are how well it chops and what it's capable of chopping. It chopped lightweight herbs, like cilantro, very well. Easy peasy. It chopped shelled pistachios too. But it couldn't chop rosemary because it's too tough. It just bruised the heck out of it. So how well does it chop? Meh. You'd always do a better job with a knife by hand, but you knew that. This will chop some bits more finely than you want and leave larger chunks behind too. I shook it after every few chops to try to redistribute my herb bits, but that was still the end result. It is very easy to disassemble and reassemble, which makes cleaning it pretty easy. Except when you are trying to clean it very thoroughly, because it's hard to squeeze a sponge in the crevices of the zig zag blade without slicing yourself. I usually just give it a rinse if I've only chopped a few herbs. Overall, if I am just chopping a few nuts to put in a salad, or if I want cilantro for my guac, I'll use a knife to get the pieces the exact size I want. But if there is a particularly large job, especially one that involves many herbs (some recipes I cook ask for cilantro AND mint AND something else!) then I'd use this bad boy to speed things along.

Es muy fácil de usar y de limpiar. Poca todo tipo de verdura y el tamaño está perfecto.

Excellent for chopping veg, saving a lot of time in the kitchen

Super afiado, porém funciona “bem” com cebola, alho, pimentão, não sendo muito adequado para um tomate maduro por exemplo. Mas valeu a pena, compraria novamente.
