However, these were garbage, so I'd avoid them anyway. **Q: One of the reviews said these were too small. Could anyone tell me the diameter of the hole so I can work out if they will fit my strat?** A: "Top End" of the keyhole is 16mm diameter, and "Bottom End" of the keyhole is 9mm diameter. I've used these locks with complete satisfaction on Fender Strats and Teles fitted with the classic Fender "vintage" strap button. These locks are easy to use and 100% reliable. **Q: Will these work with Gibson diamond button?** A: I can’t say. I bought them for my Fender electro acoustic and the hole was too small so I opened it up a bit with a file and they fit ok now. Worth a try for the price but measure and voooare with info on the advert **Q: Will this fit a gibson les paul? the jim dunlop twist ones don’t so just wondering :)** A: I had no problem fitting them to mine. They are a very simple design and I have used them on several makes of guitar, cheap, cheerful but does the job unless you have some weird size strap knob fitted. They are easy to put on (a little harder to remove!), and hold your strap securely. I have had no mishaps. There is an extra clip where you can also secure your guitar lead. This works well and again is secure. Made of plastic, but seems fairly sturdy and has not been damaged even by repeated bending.
