This was exactly what I needed to replace my old remote. It worked right away after putting the batteries in—no setup or programming needed, which was nice. All the buttons respond well and it controls my TV just like the original remote. The layout is simple and easy to use, and it does everything I need it to. Overall, no complaints. I was really excited to find a replacement for my Vizio remote, and this one worked perfectly right out of the box. The only thing it doesn’t have is the microphone feature for voice search, so you still have to type when searching for shows or movies. That said, for a replacement remote it does exactly what I needed and works great.

Let me start by saying that I'm a picky person with things like this. So much so that I was really close to ordering a brand new remote directly from Samsung to the tune of like $180 after the one my wife ordered from another company selling on Amazon didn't meet my expectations. The one we tried before this one was too 'clicky', wouldn't work without line of sight at the TV, and the buttons were not responsive. There was a fine line between the button press not doing anything and it registering twice. This new one that I'm reviewing right now from THIS listing is so good it's legitimately better than the factory Samsung remote that came with the TV brand new! It's even more responsive, works no matter where it's buried, pointed, in the other room, upstairs, whatever... The buttons have a slight click but it's quiet, which is perfect. You know the exact point that the button was pressed, which makes the factory remote feel spongey and inaccurate in comparison. So for $15 I got a remote that better than the $180 factory option... And that's insane value. Two important things to consider: 1: Make sure the remote is compatible with your TV. I'm sure this is where the few negative reviews come from. Make sure your original remote has the exact same buttons... I've seen that if you get one with even slightly different buttons (like the 3 quick access buttons for Netflix, Prime, and Hulu) they tend to not work correctly. 2: Don't forget to pair it to the TV, which is really easy to do... Just point it at the TV while it's on, then press and hold the back arrow and the play/pause buttons together. That's it. Takes 5 seconds. This remote seriously works PERFECTLY. Every button works, and works instantly. I like it so much I bought another to replace the factory Samsung remote for our bedroom TV, relegating the factory one to backup status in the junk drawer... If you need a replacement remote for your Samsung TV, and your TV is compatible with this one... BUY IT. THIS IS THE ONE.

We purchased this to replace the original remote that came with our Samsung TV. The original started to react incorrectly (e.g. would change applications when simply trying to fast forward). This one works better than the original EVER did. It is not too sensitive and performs accurately every time. It was very easy to pair with our TV in just a few seconds. I can't speak to the voice activation since we never use that feature. Also note this takes 2 AA batteries (original was rechargeable/solar). We should have bought this replacement long ago.

Did not have to program at all, just put batteries in and away we go, with just one little thing. The buttons are not as sensitive as the original and I find myself having to press the button multiple times to get the selection I want. The grip is not that great, it's a bit slippery.

So easy to use! Literally just pointed at the tv, and it worked right away! Linked to my surround sound automatically. Haven’t had to change the batteries at all, since getting it.

This is a perfect replacement, all you have to do is pop batteries in it and point it at the TV, works perfect. This is my second one due to a new puppy eating the remotes in the house. I will probably end up buying another one at some point. Highly recommend it.

Are big old puppies decided are perfectly working but years old remote was something to try as a chew toy. Ordered this one from Amazon and it is exactly the same as the first one thank goodness. Brand new, works perfect perfectly, I received it on time.

Good. Works straight out of the box for 90% of functions on the Frame. The only issues are the On/ Off does not have continuous hold and only puts the TV into art mode and not off/ standby. Also the fast fwd button also isn't continuous and needs to press for any forward or backwards and not a smooth scroll like the original. Not bad for the price I guess

The direction button to the right is so hard to press and not working properly. I hope the customer service team can help or provide a better remote product.

Value for money product.works flawlessly but the only draw back is the voice command not working.
