If so, what is the minimum length?** A: I purchased the Ettore 43009 extension pole a few months ago. The minimum length is 44", and it extends to 107". One word of caution, though, it's easy to over-tighten the pole when extending it. Just a light twist is all that's necessary. Otherwise, you'll have to break out your Vise Grips to collapse the pole. (Make sure you slip some cloth over the teeth of your Vise Grips when you do. The plastic grips are soft and easy to mar.) **Q: Is the end threaded?** A: yes but you need to buy adapter to fit the head of window cleaner. **Q: Reviewers of Ettore squeegees say they don't work with threaded poles, and instead clip on. But this photo clearly shows threads. What's the deal?** A: The pole includes both the clip and the threaded end. That way if you want to purchase a brush for washing your car, it will screw onto the threaded end. It's dual purpose! **Q: Will this work as a paint roller extension pole?** A: Should be able to handle it.
