These are great. Easy to cut to size. Redid PS4 slim. No overheating problems combined with top notch paste for the main processor!

The ARCTIC TP-3 pads are a significant step up from stock thermal pads. They are incredibly soft, which ensures perfect contact between components without putting too much pressure on the board. Temperature control: 10/10. Installation: They are very easy to cut and apply. The consistency is just right—tacky enough to stay in place during assembly but easy to handle. Thickness & Compression: One of the best features is how well they compress. This ensures great compatibility even if your measurements are slightly off, as they mold perfectly to the gaps. Temperature Control: I noticed a visible drop in VRAM and VRM temperatures immediately after installation. They handle heat transfer much more efficiently than standard pads. Durability: Knowing ARCTIC, these will last for years without leaking silicone or drying out, making them a "set and forget" solution for any high-performance build.

Bought to repaste a MSI 3080 x trio lhr 12g. 1mm is for the vram chips around the GPU die. Absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they cheaper but the definitely make better contact vs the gelid kit which is actually almost double if not double the price. They also ran slightly cooler. Memory pre re-pad and paste was at 94-97c/ fans 65%. Gelid kit memory max that i saw was 85 at 65% and the arctics was staying at 83 but max of 84 at 65%. Reason for removing the gelids is because i didn't feel like they were making sufficient contact just by eyeing it but i could be wrong. But for half the price and in my opinion better contact and 2c less i would definitely go with arctic!

Replaced the worn/degraded stock thermal pads on my M.2 SSDs in my gaming rig with this 1.5mm ARCTIC TP-3 (stacked a bit where needed to hit ~2.0mm gaps). Big improvement: CrystalDiskInfo shows significantly lower temps now—worth the swap if your SSDs were running hot/throttling. Tips for sizing/cutting: Measure your gaps precisely (calipers help), then cut with a sharp tool like an #11 scalpel or model knife for clean edges. The 100x100mm sheet left plenty of leftovers for me, so small mistakes weren't a big deal—I only tossed one tiny messed-up piece. It's thick but compresses exactly as the compression chart on Arctic's site promises. Not super "sticky" like some pads, but has a nice tacky/moist feel that makes positioning on the SSD easy—no sliding around. Arctic's website support is excellent if you need extra guidance (charts, manuals, etc.). Highly recommend for anyone refreshing SSD/VRM/RAM pads—performs great without the hassle.

So far so good on this putty. Replaced my OEM putty on first-gen PS5 along with fixing the massive APU dry spot (separate review). The factory putty was pretty dry. This ARCTIC putty was easy to use and seems like good quality. I recommend the 1.5mm version. Sony doesn’t really give a way to measure CPU temperature, but it seems to run normally just fine for hours.

Legitimately the best thermal pad ever my laptop thermal paste was not cutting it was getting temps 99+ and with this installed it hasn’t even gotten hot too The touch 10/10 amazing thermal pad and I’m using a razor blade 15 advanced model and in boost mode there basically a paninipresss and it wasn’t even going over 90 while running modded gta at max graphics

Have used Arctics TP-3 thermal pads for many different applications over the years. These TP-3 1.5mm pads were used for Xbox series S and series X video and memory chipsets as well as m.2 SSD’s. Also used these same 1.5MM pads in one of our Lenovo gaming laptops. I use a new sharp razor blade and small straight edge to cut pads into desired sizes. Don’t need to apply an ungodly amount of pressure to cut pads and backing plastic, you can definitely flatten them if not careful. Take your time and have sharp razor blade or scissors when cutting. By all means try to avoid touching the pads itself with barehands you don’t want oils from your skin contaminating them! Over all I can tell a difference by heat output from heat sync and by monitors that these thermal pads do there job well! The Lenovo gaming laptop would thermal throttle after a few minutes of gaming though I installed new thermal paste on cpu many other parts had old dried up thermal pads that contributed to overheating. Would and have bought again and again. P.S don’t forget to order some new thermal paste for your cpu chips as well!

Très bon pad thermique. Je l'utilise sur une Rx 5700 XT qui normalement chauffe beaucoup. Elle montait régulièrement à 90°C. J'ai remplacé les pads thermiques sur la VRAM, sur les VRM et remplacé la pâte thermique par un pad résultat: 77°C avec MSI Kombustor au bout de 2 heures de test. Franchement très bon pad thermique.

Probly the best low cost thermal pads. Found it easier to use sharp scissors over a straight blade and ruler. I was impressed with the temperatures. Iv tired just about all the thermal pads amazon sells to try and tame my alienware gaming laptop temps havent even passed 90°c when running benchmarks
