I bought these as I wanted to create mini aquariums as gifts (and also a couple for myself 😉). I bought 2 sets - one from this seller and one from a different seller (which was almost half the price for the same things) These ones arrived quickly on prime and were well packaged. There was a leaflet inside but it was about other plants not how to care for these (that I could see anyway) which was a bit strange, but I had already looked on Google so I knew what to do. The moss balls were of a decent size and there was a little one too. All healthy and several weeks later, still perfectly fine. Okay, so you can get them cheaper elsewhere, but this company was very helpful when my husband called them about pond plants and they clearly care about what they do, so I will always support that. I would buy again.

Five plump, healthy, happy marimo moss balls! These look beautiful in bottle gardens for my bathroom - it has really poor natural light and so isn’t suitable for conventional plants. I added some aquarium gravel and a few seashells to each. I also broke one of the balls into several smaller ones (so can confirm that these are the real deal!) easily and made some smaller jar gardens to give away as gifts. These somehow look so cheerful that I can’t help but smile every time they catch my eye, sounds crazy but they’re almost like little pets rather than plants :-)

Have some very happy little shrimp! moss balls arrived later than expected but not a seller issue more a delivery issue. Brilliant condition very green and fluffy. Packaged appropriately with information provided. Overall very happy.

After all the great reviews I was really sad to not have the same experience as most peole; I've bought moss balls before, even from pets @ home which I thought were over-priced ... but now I know they were great value for money, big fat plump healthy balls The ones I received were not just misshapen but the fibres were torn , like they were split open, I tried to rescue them, gently cleaned and rolled them, but were the fibres were torn they just couldn't keep their form... I messaged seller who responded quickly and had great communication back and forth with me, they said the balls arnt perfectly circlualr as they are live and are all unique but when i sent photos they could also see the fibres were torn, not just mishaped, (I actually thought they'd been one big ball torn apart into 5 small balls...think I may have caused offence when I said this; I didn't mean to but it was what it looked like) they sent another 5 balls to me, no problem, quick del7very ect and these were better than the first lot and I appreciate them doing this as , the onky option on amazon was fir a refund, I explained via email that I didn't want a refund I just really wanted the balls everyone else were so over the moon about!, I did really want what all the positive feedback leavers had received and were so happy with (to be honest I was quite gutted I hadn't had the same experience as them. The second set were better, but still not what id envisioned by others reviews, these were pretty mishaped, 2 also looked kinda torn, though nothing compared to the first lot!! When cleaning both sets the water was very dirty, move on to today ... they've kept their colour, 2 just keep splitting themselves back open and bits keep floating off them, the other 3 seem happy and healthy .. but 3 out of 10 isn't a good ratio Think I will stick to buying the big fat boys from p@h in future, 3.99 each is a bargin... its like all 5 in 1 big healthy ball I do appreciate seller sending replacement But thought they might of made sure the replacemental was "outstanding" Such a shame as most people were so happy with theirs Sony know where mine went wrong

I saw some reviews saying people had had worm infestations and snails on their moss balls, so I purchased with apprehension, hoping for the best but expecting the worst. The moss balls arrived the next day after ordering. They were still damp and packaged well. I sat them in a bowl of water for around an hour so they could fluff up and be inspected. They were all of varying sizes, but good sized nonetheless. There was a bit of white fluff on one, and some specks of dirt on another but were easily removed. I rolled them gently to rid any air pockets and they sunk and puffed up beautifully. My fish absolutely loves them (he headbutts them to loosen any food caught on them) and they complement my tank well. I will definitely be ordering more of these for my larger tank!
