100% Merino Wool Base Layer Men - Long Sleeve Thermal Shirt + Hiking Socks

Bought this for my husband, and he practically lives in it. Very good fit, washes fantastically, and is basically perfect for the cooler weather. It’s very comfortable to wear and soft near the skin. Quality item.

Love it. I took the plunge in a Merino.tech t-shirt last summer and I love it. I got this in the winter, mainly for when I'm on my motorbike. It's a top quality item. Very comfortable and warm. When worn over another merino top it's a great combination. I'm sold on merino - it is worth the cost. This is now my go-to brand for all my merino clothing. Oh, you sometimes get free merino socks too. They are also very nice on a motorbike in winter...

Love this top, works well for walking and on the M,bike. cheaper than any product with bike on it. Well made and effective. I used this top mid winter in Austria when waking the streets for hours and also use on the bike. I shall purchase a thinner one for summer rides on the bike. I did find that it did not smell and it did a great job of keeping me dry, just don't add a cotton anything and it will work wonders.

I purchased this with some hesitation due to merino being an expensive buy. I needed this as a base layer for a cold hike in the mountains, and was pleasantly surprised1. Thin enough but not too thin2. No threads sticking out of the seams - seems well stiched3. Super comfortable - does not make me itchy like some wool does4. Very absorbent and quick drying - and does not smell at the end of a long day (or two)5. Excellent colour (partial to yellow, and what a yellow this is!)6. Bonus freebie of a pair of socks which are also great!Overall, happy with my purchase - seems durable, and first handwash didn't shrink it either. Follow care instructions and it should last long enough, and worth it's value.

Good base layer . Accurate fit , easy to wash , comfortable , warm ..., ....Looks shabby after several washes , so not idealto be used as a top ( single ) layer. ... So overall its definitely worth the price

Size guide inaccurate, based on size guide I ordered M, I would need XS judging on the vests that arrived. Tried to reorder but price now increased by £20 so bought alternative. Seem to be nice quality vests so quite disappointed. Also, bizarrely the free socks where L when the vest is M

A quality product! I have purchased these for my husband (6'5") on multiple occasions, they wear and wash well (we hang dry to avoid shrinkage). Have also gifted to family who also enjoy this. Very warm but not heavy, breathable and look great on it's own, but my husband typically wears as a base layer for work or for winter sport.

New review: 4/5I have purchased 4 of these in the last years. The first ones, reviewed above were very thin and I did not review as good, but these last heavy ones I really like. They are very nice and warm, and they do not pick up any odor. They also fit well if you get the right size, and contrary to some other reviews I read do not get stretched out.The colors though limited are nice and the material seems much heavier and stronger. My only real criticism is that I don't like the logo on the left sleeze. I wish there were a way to remove it.Merino.tech is a good bargain for warm winter clothes. I would recommend and buy again as well.-- old review of lighter shirt --Seriously, why make something like this if it is so thin as to be see-through. I guess I can put it under a sweater in mild cool weather, but this is not what I thought I was ordering.The free-socks are a nice touch, but it would have been better if they would have added the sock material to the shirt so it was not transparent.

Seems to be a quality product. Fit is “athletic” and runs about true to size maybe a little small in the arms and belly. I wear a Medium in Smartwool and this fits a little tighter. Breathable and durable.

The shirt fits great. I bought it for hiking and to keep me dry . This will work much better than a cotton t-shirt that retains mosture and as the temp. changes it makes you cold and damp. this shirt is very light and works well along on warm days and very good as a base layer on colder hikes or as you get up to higher elevations and other layers are needed over this shirt.
