I got this kit as I was having problems with leaks on my 5 litre standard sprayer. It's important to bear in mind that it is intended for the 5 and 10 litre standard and pro sprayers so you probably won't use all the items - a bit annoying as you still have to pay for them and are left with a few random bits and pieces at the end. Fitting is reasonably straightforward but there are no instructions as such, only an exploded diagram. My main giggle is that the pressure relief valve spring was the wrong diameter and did not fit, which would have been a major problem had the current one not been in good condition. When reassembled, the sprayer worked fine, so no complaints about the utility of this item. It is advertised as an annual service kit, but I'd suggest using it on an as-and-when basis. With annual use and at current prices you would do better to just replace the whole sprayer every four years.

GODD FOR THE MONEY. JUST A SHAME THE WEED KILLERS/PESTICIDES ARE NO LONGER ANY WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THE SPRAYERS.

First thing: make sure you get the right service pack for your sprayer - easy to carelessly order the wrong one. But the job is pretty straightforward, and needs a penknife or similar to get old O-rings out of screw-in tops etc. (mind fingers, some are fiddly). The instructions could be clearer - what there is is all very well but certainly not printed with my 70+ year-old eyeballs in mind; there's a good how-to on the Hozelock website. Didn't need all the bits and there's one spring in there which I cannot figure out at all, but hey. The sprayer holds pressure again now so all's well that ends well.

Expensive for a few o rings. I have just bought a box of 250 for £6. When I was unscrewing the pressure valve it snapped. A new one £7.19 for a tiny piece of plastic. No way. If you add up the cost of all the parts it is over £50 and that does not include the bottle or pump which are the main parts. I will return the kit and put the sprayer in a skip were it belongs.

Excellent service and product. You can buy o rings cheaper but this kit gives all the rings, springs, plunger seal and lubricant to service the hozelock sprayer. I was about to buy a new sprayer for £50 but the old one is working properly again.

Item was as described and of good quality. Fitted correctly.
