Great for projects
Great little item. The information is out there, just be patient and you will find it

Friday at the assembly factory quality
Came with the modules in upside down, missing the cable and header pins. Board sloppily assembled with connector blocks installed at an angle meaning the matrix display looked like a set of steps. Managed to fix this by cutting down the pins slightly on the modules but considering this cost me nearly 4 times what I would've paid elsewhere I am not impressed. It's also approx 3 mm wider than a standard matrix assembly meaning it only just fit inside a 3d printed enclosure I use for these things normally. I won't be buying again. 3 stars only because I managed to get it working but for this price I expect better.

Works fine - bear in mind it's red!
This works fine, downloaded an initial test that ran a cutesy space-invaders code and it operates admirably. On the other hand, I don't think it was specified anywhere in the description that it was red!

NO INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
I bought this hoping I could display things on an LED matrix. When it came, I had no idea how to install this to my raspberry pi. There are no online guides and no instructions. This product would be better if it had a manual.

Poor quality
I ordered two of these and received one FC-16 and one poor generic style. If you're looking for matching boards forget these. Also no protective cover on matrix, so it was badly marked.

Causes WiFi boards to die
Works fine on an Arduino Uno. Doesn't work with u8g2 library as the segments are wired the wrong way around - there's no way to fix that with the u8g2 library. I found I had to write my own display code with LedControl or LedController.Causes Wemos D1 R2, Arduino Uno WiFi Rev 2 to die - I suspect the combination of extra WiFi plus the LEDs overloads the power of those boards.

Brilliant product, woefully overpriced compared to the average cost ...
Brilliant product, woefully overpriced compared to the average cost for the unit. One thing to be aware of is putting the modules on upside down as there are no markings

Reasonable units but lacking any information
Overall not too bad but as many above state there are cheaper units around. A real issue if you're intending using these with an Arduino type device is the lack of any information as to the exact device which you need to set the hardware type in any controlling code. For info they are FC16 unit defined as FC16_HW for the code library. Took several hours of Googling to get to that.
