We purchaesed a dell wireless mouse wm126 - unfortuneately the dongle that connects the mouse to the computer was missing

The top of the mouse acts as a top “lid” if you will. Simply take this off to locate the USB chip within the mouse. Double check the accompanying instructions for further guidance

This wireless mouse is compatible with any laptop provided it has a USB port. You also need a double A battery for the mouse to work.

My dell xps 13 does not have a usb port so how do i use a wireless mouse ???

The USB port is mandatory for the wireless receiver to be plugged in.
