Works if you keep at it!
I don’t write many reviews, but I was happy with how this worked out. We have 3 cats, all over 10, the oldest, who is 16, has pooped on the concrete floor in my basement for over 4 years. We figured there was no hope, but someone told me to look into sprays. I came across this one, which said to keep trying it if it doesn’t work the first time. So I figured to use the whole bottle and see what happens. Every time I would do the litter, I would clean up the poop on the concrete, and soak the floor with this stuff. First few times, no change, but gradually, there was less and less down there, and toward the end of the bottle being used up, I haven’t seen any for 3 weeks. I still spray the floor after each litter box cleaning, but there is no poop on the floor anymore. I guess you can break an old cat’s habits after all! Great product, highly recommend!

Rating for indoor use.
This advertises for indoor use which is exactly what I purchased for and I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT USE IN YOUR HOUSE. Unless you want your home to smell like rotten garlic and moldy citrus. Im sure it works wonderfully outdoors but the indoor use should be removed from the lable. I sprayed 3 sprays onto a puppy pad to put in a corner my kitten keeps peeing in and I had to throw the puppy pads outside and opened all my windows(its a windy day too) and two hours later my home still smells like rotting garlic. Not good like garlic bread, no, rotten, moldy, death garlic. There isn't anything left in the house that has this product on it and the smell is still lingering hours later. Again, if you want it for outdoors im sure it will do great but do not bring this stuff in your home.

NEED ON-GOING PURCHASE IN ORDER TO WORK
UPDATE: it can work if you commit to a lifetime of a WEEKLY PURCHASE. I can't afford $20 a week. Also, probably easier for your HOUSE CAT, not the stray, ferral cats. Unfortunately, the stray cats in my yard had already marked their territory (my yard) for several months before I bought this product. I think this will work if you have it before the cats get comfortable. I purchased 1 bottle and when i noticed the cats skipped a night of pooping in my yard, I ordered 2 more. Then I traveled for 7 days and returned to a yard full of poop all over. So it seems you have to use it DAILY for a few weeks to truly get rid of the stray cats. I used old rags placed around my backyard and heavily SOAKED the rags so the odor of the product could linger awhile . it seemed to work for a few nights. But the stray cats returned. This will be the 3rd set of kittens born in my yard. My neighbor feeds the cats and they use my yard to lounge and poop, and give birth to new kittens. I have experienced flee bites and too many flies everywhere. I move my patio furniture around often to prevent the cats from getting too comfy in one spot. I can't afford to purchase a bottle every week so I am now using garlic. I THINK THIS WORKS IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO PURCHASE WEEKLY.

Works well overall
This cat repellent works well overall and does what it claims for the most part. I noticed a clear reduction in cats coming into the treated area after a few days of consistent use. The scent is strong at first, but it fades after a short time and wasn’t overwhelming to me. Application is easy, and I like that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, it does need to be reapplied more often than expected, especially after rain or cleaning, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. If you’re dealing with occasional cat issues and don’t mind reapplying as needed, this is a solid and effective option.

THIS STUFF WILL AMAZE YOU
I have had an issue with stray cats coming on my back porch for months now. I have a camera set up so i can see any activity day or night, it started with 1, i didn't mind it, it was cute and furry. i was actually going to start feeding it until i saw another one, then it turned into 3. i even posted on my Ring neighborhood feed asking if anyone were the owners because they literally came every single night regularly. i just had to set up a barricade to keep them off so i can come up with a plan to keep them away for good since they were spraying all over the place. I did my research, didn't want to harm them and read that coffee grounds would deter them so i scattered those around, i ordered something called a scat mat, (they jumped right over that ) and i was getting the grounds from the neighbor, i was sick of everything i was doing, not working. I was obsessed with getting rid of these cats, every single night i would see them on my camera and get more determined to find something that would work! Finally i ordered this. it seemed like a good value for the money, it had a guarantee on it (you can't beat that) I followed the directions.....sprayed the entire area where they could enter my porch, the banisters and the sidewalk leading up to the porch and the next morning i looked at the camera and we did not have 1 visitor that night. for 1 week you have to spray each day, i probably over sprayed since i was sick of them so i ordered a lot more for future, but then after the first week, you only have to spray once a week or something like that. The bottle is a good size, the nozzle is easy to use, comes out in stream or spray ( i love that feature ) super easy to use and i am 100 percent certain if you a similar issue as I do, you wont be disappointed. This product actually does what it says it is going to do, i have not had 1 cat on my porch for 3 nights in a row! Not many products do what they claim to do or have that guarantee. i love this stuff!!

Does it's job! Strangely enjoyable scent!
You have to reapply often, but I'm okay with that because it's all natural ingredients. Definitely stopped the cats schidting under my bed. Awesome! They also don't even go anywhere else in the house, i think they got the message for sure! Also, I dig the smell, its a strong cinnamon smuggling garlic cloves up your nostriles... very Interesting mix, and I like iiittttt!

Doesnt work for me.
i should have known . It did not work for me. I finally mixed it with vinegar and essential oils and poured it on my fence. it worked while it was wet but once it dried.... There is a fresh poop in my yard that wasn't there yesterday.

Tired it, didn't work for me.
This may work for you but did nothing for my cat. So, my indoor cat went out the doggy door and was MIA for18 days. When he came back he had the thousand-yard stare of a man who as seen some $h1t. He also came back with an annoying habit of wanting to go outside and use the planter boxes as his own earthy litter box. While I was quite alright with it, the boss was highly agitated at him kicking over the bricks that make up the planter and digging out the soil. I figure hey there has to be a product that will deter him from doing these shenanigans. I bought the Nature’s Mace product praying it would keep Gus(the cat) from tearing things up, and my wife (the boss) from flipping her $h1t every time it happened. So after getting the bottle(thank you amazon for fast as heck shipping) and shaking the heck out of the solution inside I went out to spray down the box. This box is aprox 3’ by 2’, and as I said made up of rough bricks. The first couple of spays had me thinking it was just a cinnamon solution, however a far worse smell was coming. Have you ever been around a realy REALLY old person, the kind with bad dentures and really bad halitosis? Ok now give that person a couple of sticks of Big Red gum and let them chew for a few, then have them exhale on you. That smell is the smell of this product. As the odor drove me from that corner of the garden I thought ‘Holy $h1t, this has to work!’ Sadly, I was very wrong. That very day Gus climbed right back into the box and wreaked havoc on the planter. Then promptly came in the house with feet that smelled like he had tromped through a crap covered cinnamon patch. In the end I ended up putting a thick layer of lava rocks over the planter soil to keep him out.

Works well but..
It has a very strong and irritating smell and the liquid is yellow so stains light fabrics easily. But it does the job really well.
