Is this food safe? ie for a bowl or mug

I'm afraid it does not say on the packaging, however I have found the following information on the Sculpey website "We do not recommend making dishes or utensils that you plan to drink from, eat off of or serve food even if they are sealed with the glazes. While our clays and glazes are non-toxic and carry the AP seal from The Art and Creative Materials Institute, they have not been tested for use with food for direct or indirect contact and cannot be recommended for that use." I hope this is useful.

Do you need to bake this after putting on polymer clay already baked items?

The Sculpey Satin Glaze can just be painted on like a varnish and doesn't need to be baked again. Hope that helps!

Can this glazed be used as a final finish for school. Buff clay which has been fired I.e.satin finish

Has anyone used this to mix with metallic powder for highlighting air dried clay?

I have used this mixed with metallic powders on oven baked clay after cooking and it worked fine so I would say it would be ok on air drying clay too 😀
