**Q: Hi, do you think they would be suitable for avairy kakariki birds? i bought the standard green water feeders but they couldn't seem to get close ty**
A: I don't know these birds I have mine for chickens so it is hanging up but if you placed it on the floor it is suitable for any bird that will stand on the floor to drink.

**Q: Will it done pigeons for over the winter for drinking**
A: Provided it's not freezing temperatures then I would suggest yes... It's up to the pigeon if it chooses to drink from it.

**Q: Do you fill this from the top, or do you have to turn it upside down to fill it?**
A: Remove the white dome from the red base . Invert the dome to fill it with water. Replace the base whilst dome inverted . Turn the base to lock onto the dome . Turn back upright and the water trickles into  the base . Place on a flat surface to allow the water to flow  into the base.

**Q: Could I attach a hose to this to auto refill via a water butt?**
A: No you have to take off the white part turn it upside down to fill it then sit it on the floor replace the red part screw it on and then turn it back up for bottom to fill with water. Unless you drilled a hole to put hose in

It’s inexpensive and it holds a decent amount of water but putting the bottom on is hugely irritating. The drinker, as they call it, has to be turned upside down to fill up and the bottom then secured by rotating it so it engages three ‘lugs’ . Sounds easy? Not when the drinker is wet and slippy. Once assembled however it does the job very well.
