Bought this as a replacement and it fits perfectly on standard 6mm gas hob knobs. Made of plastic but sturdy. For anyone struggling to fit it, make sure there isn’t any metal ring or insert from the previous knob still left on the spindle. I tried a few times and figured out eventually. Once that’s removed, it should fit properly.

The item as stated are universal and are really easy to fit. A little bit of movement when fitted to cooker but no more so than the original knob. Truth is these knobs actually look better than factory fitted originals, certainly feel (in my opinion) better quality.Ordered after lunch delivered after lunch next day, brilliant service.

First i bought these for my sisters cooker, but decided to test with my own cooker first after receiving them. I have an Elba EB 166 cooker. The nob is great. slightly lighter plastic than what comes with cooker. The groves don't align perfectly for the knob to be facing 12 sharp when off. But the variance is barely noticeable once knob is installed. The only negative thing (hence 1 star less) is that he shaft is a bit short in length such that if I had a washer in place, i wouldn't be able to use it well with gas as Gas requires abit of travel (push it in) to turn. Without the washer, it fits almost flash, with just enough room to push in and turn the gas on. However if like me you have not been able to use your cooker because of a missing knob, its a great relief that this works.

I did not use for the cooker I used on a blow torch Map gass for soldering as the dial snapped off and uses the same shape spindle

The plastic is very poor quality and feels flimsy. Despite being advertised as a “universal fit,” the knobs failed to work with my appliance. To make matters worse, I had to pay £2.79 for return postage – very disappointing for a product that didn’t do what it claimed. Overall, it was a waste of money. Definitely avoid buying!

They were a good price, quality not fantastic but fit well and work. As I said you get what you pay for.

These are easy to fit and they have smartened up our cooker very nicely. A good selection of fittings so you should be able to find one that fits your cooker. They look to be a good quality and look original.
