Best nit comb
This nit comb is really easy to use and glides through the hair with very little pulling. It has two rows of prongs with larger spacing one side - use with the larger spacing going through the hair first. Things to consider: Because of the different sized prongs it is "handed" which means you may have to hold it in the wrong hand if using the handle or just grip it and ignore the handle, especially if using it on yourself. If you have very thick hair hold the handle near the comb as it could possibly break the handle otherwise. On each pass through the hair remember to look between the two rows of prongs as well as on them for anything you might have collected - eggs or lice - gentle tapping the comb also works. This comb is the best comb I have ever used. I have long curly hair and combs can get "stuck" very easily - prongs get bent or broken off, but so far I haven't had any problems or damaged or broken the prongs. It works well with dry hair, moisturiser, or tee tree - with dry hair just comb the hair with fingers ahead of the nit comb and it will just glid through - it actually goes through more easily than an ordinary comb. Ordinarily, for me, using even an ordinary comb is a sensory nightmare but this comb is far more comfortable than any comb I have ever used. Everyone is different but this comb is certainly worth trying if the person needing it is autistic or has sensory processing differences - even as an ordinary comb.

Absolutely brilliant at combing out lice and eggs
What a Relief to find this comb! After several weeks of being convinced I could feel critters on my scalp, combing it through with combs supplied by other brands such as Hedrin, and nothing came out, the first time I used This comb, the double row of teeth were Filled with eggs and even a louse... I Knew I had things living on my head (gross) and wasn't just imagining it!! The next step, was to use NitNot - 100% dimethecone to kill them all (rather than those shampoos with 10% dimethicone which meant that after a few days peace they would be back). This comb is Great - I have thick wavy hair. Especially, as, doing it on myself, I can't see the eggs to pick them out. For my son however, who has very tightly curled hair - I think I might struggle to get this comb through it. Thank you guys for inventing a comb with a double layer of teeth, the second even finer than the first, and creating the most effective comb on the market, in my experience! Very good value & robust too.

Double trouble ... for the head lice that is.
Our youngest of six children (we foster three of them) is in year 5 primary school and although she doesn't get nits as often as her earlier years, she still manages to bring them home on occasions. Catching head lice seems to be something that happens mainly in primary school and luckily for us the rest of our children are either in secondary school or college. Anyway true to form the New Year meant a new infestation of head lice and my daughter's long hair seemed to attract them like a magnet. So the other evening armed with my new 'Nitcomb M2 Double Row Head Lice Comb' and my trusty nit shampoo, my daughter and I marched up to the bathroom. My husband, who nearly has a complete nervous breakdown at the mere thought of a single head louse crawling over his already very short number one cut was downstairs rapidly shaving his head completely bald, a slight over reaction I think. Upstairs where the real work was going on, I finished washing my daughter's hair and started using our new head lice comb, now over the years I have used many different head lice combs, short toothed metal, short toothed plastic, long toothed metal, wavy toothed and straight toothed, I have even used battery operated combs that are supposed to electrocute the little ... So how did this new comb perform? Absolutely brilliantly. The Nitcomb M2 Double Row Head Lice Comb is developed by Pharmacists, it has a colourful handle with two rows of very strong teeth. One row of teeth are fine and the other row is extra fine, this idea works extremely well as the fine teeth remove the head lice whilst the extra fine teeth remove most of the eggs and any head lice missed by the first row, doing it again five days later when the few eggs that remained previously have hatched certainly did the job with my daughter. I can't believe such a simple idea hadn't been thought of before, but I'm sure glad it has been thought of now.

Good product, quite fiddly to clean
This product works, but it's quite hard to get any lice out from between the rows of metal 'teeth' so you can end up brushing them through the hair again if you don't / can't remove them

Great for dogs as well!
Bought this for my Spaniel as we have gone through 4 other flea combs for dogs and teeth broke on all of them. This is a great design with two rows of teeth, capturing the fleas and eggs in the middle. The teeth are more rounded at the tip than the pet products we bought, so don't scratch. The design seems more durable - two of the pet combs broke after only using a few times.

Actually really happy
The first time I swept my daughters head for headlice/nits with this comb I was initially disheartened as it didn’t seem to get as much out as I’d have liked. However, I don’t know if it was poor technique on my part but I’ve since used the brush many times and have managed to get out lots of lice/eggs out and we won the battle against the little critters!! This brush was easier to use than the other combs and seemed to pull less on the hair too which was also a welcome feature! Am pleased to have this in my cupboard for any future visitors! Id definitely recommend this comb :)
