Is it suitable for pantry / food moths and, if yes, is it safe to use in an extremely small kitchen?

I'm not sure. It smells fairly strong, and I used it in the airing cupboard. Personally I wouldn't use it near food unless the space was food free.

I sprayed it in a storage cupboard that’s not normally in use. it has a few things in there that i dnt use. can i keep it shut indefinitely?

Yes..it will only harm insects,space can be enclosed indefinitely

Does this kill beetles too?

I have not tried it on beetles, but on carpet moths - where the effect seemed negligible.
