Tormek - PA 70 - Honing Compound

This stuff is fantastic and works really good. I was using the hard blocks of honing compound but this stuff put a really, really razor sharp edge on my knives with a nice mirror finnish for a low friction cutting ability. They also sent it next day delivery so that was also great but remember when using this honing compound to use it sparingly as a little goes a long way. If your using a leather strop then use a little WD 40 on your strop and then put this stuff on and again sparingly. I use a Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition with a leather strop on the machine but do not use oil on the strop as it will just sit there and spin on the spindle and not go anywhere as the oil prevents traction. This is a really really effective honing compound and I recommend this 100% but what would be amazing is if this company who sells this could sell different grit sizes so you could use this on a buffing wheel to polish metal. Please don't buy honing block compounds buy this and I'm telling you, you won't buy disappointed !!!

The other day I had sharpening morning,folding knives.chisels and and in fact anything that holds an edge,finally ending up with the honing compound . The results were great especially the knives, the chisels I've not tried yet but the Opinels are fantastic and a little seems to go a long way.A true convert from now on. Prompt delivery and the honing product helped put an excellent edge to my chisels. The Tormek system for sharpening edge tools is well worth the investment.

Item arrived on time and was as described, so happy with this seller. I have a Tormek waterstone and the stone gets my chisels very sharp indeed. Honing on the leather wheel with this paste gives a mirror finish and a razor sharp edge. If you’re a hobby user as I am, a tube will last for a long time, so I don’t mind that it is quite expensive. It’s just the best.

Non ho un sistema Tomek ma volevo testare questa pasta. Peccato non sapere che grid ha. Comunque lo usata per riaffilare delle forbici da cucina (5 paia) ed il filo, al termine del trattamento con una stroppa artigianale, era a lucido (e passando su un dito con delicatezza me lo ha inciso, tipo coltello.

Goed product en onmisbaar om je gereedschap echt scherp te krijgen...
