Hi, I've used it loads already and never had any air bubbles at all. I have been using good quality pouches too so that may help. It's a fantastic, light laminator though. Extremely good value for an A4 laminator.

A4 pouches. This one is not an A3 laminator.

Does this laminator require a carrier particularly for smaller than A4?

Haven't used it for smaller than A4, but I don't think it needs a carrier.
