The Braun ThermoScan 3 is very easy to use and works well for its purpose. The measurement is quick—just about 1 second—which is great when dealing with restless little ones. The reading accuracy is very good, though not perfect—especially for newborns it performs well enough to give a reliable indication of fever. While it’s not 100% precise, it’s close enough to be trusted for everyday use. The brightness of the digital display isn’t the best, which can make it a bit harder to read in certain lighting conditions. Overall, the value for money is excellent, making this a solid choice if you want a fast, user-friendly, and generally accurate ear thermometer for home use.

Easy to use and easy to read

I wish I’d never bought this thermometer. I thought buying a known brand would serve me well. It’s no less than dangerous. It’s awful for the following reasons : * Incredibly inaccurate, it always reads less than it should (I used other thermometers to confirm). * It repeatedly shows different temperatures, even if you don’t take the thermometer out of the ear. I’ve also tried taking it out and putting it back in and it still reads various temperatures. I also tried leaving it in the ear several seconds before I pressed the button to take a reading and it’s still inaccurate. * It’s constantly showing and bleeping with an error code. I have to keep pressing the button to get it to clear. * It’s incredibly difficult to work out which bleeps mean what, wether it’s the error code, switching on or off or if it’s it’s supposedly taken the temperature. If you’re hard of hearing, DO NOT buy this device. Buy a version that will illuminate red for a fever. * My child is 10 yrs old and I find it difficult to get it sufficiently into their ear, which they find uncomfortable and get agitated because I’m having to repeatedly take their temperature in the hope to get an ‘average’ because it’s so unreliable. * The screen is difficult to read compared to my cheap oral thermometer I’ve had for years. The green screen on this Braun is rather grey/green and the numbers blend in too much. * This version of thermometers screen stays green even with a fever. When you’re stressed with a poorly child, having the screen go red is incredibly helpful. * You have to change the ear piece cover every time you use the thermometer. I did know this before I purchased it, but if you’ve got a frequently poorly person like I have, that cost will add up, especially when you’re having to repeatedly test at the same time because the readings are always different with this thermometer. I expected for over £20 I was committing to quality and a reliable thermometer. I was very wrong this time. For now I will stick to under £10 oral thermometers that work as they should and that’s far easier and safer to use. Sorry.

This is a must-have for any home. It provides readings incredibly fast, which is essential when you need a quick check. Pour une lecture simple, il dispose d’un écran LCD. Il est adapté pour les adultes et bébés. Enfin, sa prise en main est simple. Appareil de mesure fiable: Ce thermomètre sait bien faire son travail, car il arrive à mesurer la température du corps avec une grande performance à travers son capteur infrarouge. Vous recevez par conséquent au travers de lui des résultats corrects. Indicateur de fièvre sonore : Pour faciliter les choses, ce thermomètre est doté d’un indicateur de fièvre sonore ou tout simplement un système de bip. Cela fonctionne de manière simple. En fait, le nombre de bip sert à indiquer si la température est normale, élevée ou très élevée. 1 bip est signifie donc qu’elle est normale, 2 bips signifie qu’elle est élevée, tandis que 3 bips signifie qu’elle est très élevée. Comme on peut le constater, l’interprétation est très simplifiée. Cet indicateur permet de savoir s’il faut s’inquiéter sur son niveau de température ou pas. C’est clair qu’avec ça tout le monde peut facilement comprendre les résultats qu’il donne. Rapidité et précision : Pour avoir des résultats de la mesure de votre température, cela ne vous prendra pas du temps, car ce Thermoscan est doté d’une bonne rapidité. Il évalue la température du corps à travers la voie auriculaire en un clin d’œil. En effet, il arrive à évaluer la température en 1 seconde seulement. On peut dire qu’avec ça vous n’aurez pas le temps d’attendre. En plus, il le fait de manière précise. Il ne donne pas des résultats à la va vite sans bien mesurer la température du corps. il le fait rapidement sans toutefois manquer de précision et de clarté. Fonction mémoire: Pour que vous vous rappeliez de la dernière mesure, ce thermomètre est doté d’une fonction mémoire avec un stockage de données intégré. Ce qui favorise la mise en mémoire de la dernière mesure et permet de la comparer tout simplement avec la nouvelle. Alors, pour ceux qui oublient vite, il sera simple de se rappeler de la dernière mesure. Cela évite de s’embrouiller, et cela permet de connaitre l’évolution de la température. Ecran LCD : Connaitre les résultats n’est pas compliqué avec ce thermomètre Thermoscan. Pour les lire, c’est très simple, car ce dernier est doté d’un écran LCD. Cet écran est notamment identifiable sur l’appareil. Il favorise une très bonne lisibilité. L’écran affiche le résultat simplement, il ne faut pas être un médecin pour comprendre les résultats qui sont affichés. Ne touche pas le tympan : En prenant la température du corps avec ce spécimen, vous ne courrez aucun risque. C’est un thermomètre infrarouge, alors il propose une mesure sans contact, à distance. Il faut juste le placer près de l’oreille sans toutefois vraiment l’insérer près du tympan. Cela permet de ne pas ressentir de gêne dans son oreille. Hygiénique: Son embout est jetable, il en dispose en fait de plusieurs qui sont jetables et par conséquent, remplaçables. Vous disposez de 21 embouts qui vous sont fournis. Cela vous permet de changer d’embout à chaque utilisateur. Il ne nécessite donc pas de le nettoyer chaque fois, mais de changer simplement d’embout. Bonne prise en main: Sa forme fait penser à un fusil ou un bout d’un tuyau d’arrosage. Cette forme est très bien, car elle permet de bien tenir l’appareil lorsqu’il faut prendre la température de quelqu’un. En plus, avec cette forme une personne peut bien tenir et prendre sa température sois même. Ce qui favorise de ce fait une bonne prise de la température. Son design est aussi très adapté pour l’oreille, car le thermomètre se place bien vers l’oreille. Profiter d’un thermomètre performant et facile à tenir, c’est possible avec ce modèle.
