Michael Jackson Live At Wembley July 16, 1988

Michael Jackson’s legendary July 16, 1988 concert at Wembley Stadium. The concert is not a compilation of performances, but rather one complete show, exactly as Michael performed it for Prince Charles, Princess Diana and the 72,000 fans who were in the audience for that night’s sold out show. The DVD was sourced from Michael Jackson’s personal VHS copy of the performance as shown on the JumboTrons during the concert. This footage was only recently unearthed and is the only known copy of the show to exist. The visuals have been restored and the audio quality enhanced so that fans can share in the excitement of that famous night.

This concert DVD is absolutely amazing!! I bought this dvd for my daughter for her birthday who like her mum and dad just Love MJ. My husband has been telling her about the concert he had attended back in 1988 when he was 8 years old on one of the three days he had performed in Wembley. So after giving it a google, I of course, found it on here :) It was Soo fantastic to be able to buy this dvd and relive such a great memory by such a fantastic artist and performer. It Is well worth buying... A Very good price and the quality for its time is more than good enough. I would highly recommend this DVD to any MJ fans :) The Greatest Entertainer Of All Time...RIP MJ x

Great music video

Michael Jackson at his very very best, this dvd is brilliant to watch, and for us, listening to him performing live on stage on this dvd, or listening to a recording on cd, there's no difference, apart from the showmanship which is required in any live show, outstanding, well worth watching

The seller was excellent. The DVD was sent quickly and arrived safely. Exactly as described. The visual recording quality was not to latest standards obviously, but well worth owning. Not as good visually as “Live from Bucharest “

This is MJ at the peak of his entertaining abilities and it really shows with this blisteringly good video recording. I read that there were multitrack recordings of this concert unearthed , enabling this DVD’s audio to be mastered in genuine multichannel Dolby digital. And boy does the high quality surround audio make you feel embedded in the front row audience. This is the closest you can get to experiencing a MJ concert. The Dangerous tour DVD and even the This is it ! Blu ray pale into insignificance compared to this, in my humble opinion . I attended the Cardiff Bad show , the Cardiff Dangerous show and a Wembley Dangerous show, so I am a true fan seeking to relive that experience, this DVD is testament that the Bad tour set the bar !

Il DVD del concerto è stato ottenuto da delle registrazioni che MJ si faceva fare per rivedere la sua performance. Dopo i concerti gli veniva data una VHS montata in modo da rivedersi e migliorare il suo lavoro. La fortuna ha voluto che di questa data sia stata fatta anche una registrazione audio in digitale multitraccia PCM Stereo che è stata montata sul video che poi diverrà questo DVD. La qualità video è chiaramente inferiore ad una registrazione fatta con telecamere professionali broadcast ma nel remastring hanno cercato di "migliorare" qualcosa. Tutto sommato un buon lavoro tenendo presente il formato 480i/30 in 4:3. Se il vostro televisore commuta in modo da riempire lo schemo 16:9 vi consiglio di riportarlo in 4:3 che è il formato nativo e lascia le proporzioni giuste e non taglia le immagini (ci saranno due fasce nere a destra e sinistra). Stiamo parlando di una registrazione di 33 anni fa e di qualità non elevata ma godibile e piacevole da vedere perchè c'è una buona regia e un buon montaggio video e poi l'audio di qualità PCM Stereo aiuta. Questo DVD merita l'acquisto, sicuramente cento volte meglio del DVD "Live In Bucharest The Dangerous Tour" di cui ho fatto la recensione su Amazon. All'interno della custodia c'è anche un bel libretto con tutte le date del Tour e delle sue foto, al fondo viene spiegato come nasce il DVD e un racconto del tour (tutto in inglese). Se non avete nulla di MJ e volete un DVD tutto sommato bello, il suo modo di ballare (e dei ballerini) è di per se una coreografia senza bisogno di effetti speciali, per 10,99€ ve lo consiglio. Aggiornamento: Per capire la qualità video 4:3 di telecamere professionali broadcast, guardate il secondo filmato nei Bonus Features "I just can't stop loving you/Bad" ripreso da una TV giapponese e capirete la differenza di qualità rispetto a quella ricavata dal concerto del DVD.

Hallo, Michael Jackson, Fans, das Konzert, gefällt mir sehr gut 👍, bis auf die erste Halbe Stunde. Das habe ich noch nicht Gekannt. Man sollte nur die Richtige Anlage, mit Lichtefäkte haben, dann macht die Musik 🎶. Viel Spaß. Kann man wirklich weiter Empfehlen. 👍👍👍👍👍🍻

Audio is very poor

2016.02 発売ということで購入したのですが、ケース・DVD盤とも ℗2015 と明記されていますが、同封のパンフレットは ©2012 となっており、単なる再発版でしょうか？音質・画質ともによくありません。（ライブ前の紹介場面はきれいですが、ライブに入ると画質がガクッと悪くなります。）それから、アマゾンさんの曲目リストでは「全40曲」とありますが、ボーナス曲含めて20曲です。ちょくちょく、こういった誤記を見かけます。大事な商品の紹介ですから誤りのないよう正確にお願いします。あと、B.DやDVD の紹介で画質および音質を漏れなく記載していただければありがたいのですが・・・・・。
