Excellent Water flosser
It is easy to use, powerful and leaves my teeth feeling much cleaner and fresher after use.The different pressure settings are very useful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their dental hygiene .

Cleans Well
amazing. dont have to worry about battery and it may last long as used while plugged in. the battery powered waterpik barely lasted 1.5/2 years and it stopped working completely. Cleans well

Cleans away pre=plaque and grunge bruhes can't do.
I like that this little machine works very effectively at removing pre-plaque and food particles otherwise left by tooth brushes and interdental brushes. I had no idea so much detritus was in my mouth! It makes my mouth feel squeaky clean, as never before with the use of a sonic brush - and my dentl hygeine was excellent in the first place, according to my dentists (now a rarified species). The customer service was excellent - as below. I don't like how flimsy it is and the flossing handle splits and stains where the plastic hose goes into the rubber housing at the other end from the machine. On asking the vendor how to fix/replace it, the machine was immediatley replaced, although I was told-off for not sending the first one back fast enough when in truth I had never been sent a return label or instructions until that demand - it was just cupboarded. So the same thing has happened to this handle, but I have used a fine piece of transparent duct tape to stop the split worsening, although the discolouration is still increasing, from mould, horribly enough. So keepig moud at bay meqans a lengthy drying process after each use. In addition, i was happily using it on my excellent gums until one area started bleeding - turns out it was set too high. A great device but tricksy to use and maintain.

The best oral hygiene product I have ever owned
I took delivery of this on 6th November 2020 following a check up with my dentist. At my last visit to my hygienist in early 2020 she was unhappy with my oral hygiene and put me on a three monthly return. I brush with a normal toothbrush and toothpaste, then follow up with an electric toothbrush. So I am quite thorough, but my problem has always been flossing. I have tried everything including floss, floss sticks and those different size interdentals. The problem I have is the gaps between my teeth go from very, very tight in several places to quite wide in others. When using interdentals I need at least three different sizes. To be honest the whole routine was so trying I never really got into the habit, hence all the troubles with my hygienist. The visits were very painful - both for the earbashing I got, and the removal of the plaque. Hence the 3 months and the naughty step. When I visited my dentist for a check up in November she noticed the same problem and when I told her it was flossing she suggested a water flosser. So I ordered the Water-Pik and tried it. I bought the stand mount with separate handgrip for two reasons. I didn’t want to keep filling the reservoir whilst flossing, and I didn’t want to hold a heavy flosser in my hand whilst flossing. OK, so this is no use for travelling, but it’s great at home. I found it a delight to use. So much that I look forward to using it. I set myself the goal of using it every single night before I go to bed and despite some close calls I have achieved that so far. (If I miss one I’ll catch up in the morning.) The reservoir is large enough for me to do my whole mouth in one setting, and the handgrip is light and very easy to direct. So my purchase logic was correct. I also enjoy the feeling. Every night I floss I can see between two and five visible food particles dislodged. I am sure there are many more smaller particles I can’t see. Since I floss after brushing my teeth (both manual and electric) I can see that brushing isn’t removing those particles. Imagine how many would build up over a six month period. Anyway, to the point of the story, yesterday I went back for my dental check up and hygienist appointment. As usual I was dreading the usual earbashing. To my intense surprise both my dentist said my mouth was I perfect condition. Healthy gums, no plaque, nothing between the teeth. In dental speak, if you know this, I got 0s for everything. This has never happened before. My hygienist asked me how this happened and I told her about the water flosser. The dentist wasn’t very surprised as she has seen me a few times in between. Anyway, in summary, if your challenges are similar to mine, I can’t recommend this product highly enough. I confirm this is a genuine private review. I’m posting such a lengthy review to help people who may have similar oral hygiene problems to mine. P.S. my wife also uses it but she has always been a good flosser so never had my challenges.

FANTASTIC BIT OF KIT...STOPS BLEEDING GUMS IN 3 DAYS !!!
Absolutely fantastic bit of kit! I originally ordered the handheld from amazon...but then saw this ! Amazon let me sent the small one back...so I changed it for this one . First time my gums poured with blood....within 3 days of using the normal head and the pickpocket on the pockets...all bleeding has stopped! Feels like I have had them professionally cleaned ever time! Watch some YouTube videos first so you know what you are doing. Only wish I had bought one sooner !!! Looks great on the side too....(p.s I have had gum disease and have some horizontal bone loss) ...great value for money...five stars

The best Christmas present I could have asked for.
I was looking for something to replace plastic floss... And then found this! The Waterpik is one of those products people often assume is a gimmick, until they actually use it. It's very effective and he adjustable pressure settings make it easy to start gentle and increase as needed, which is great for sensitive gums. It’s simple to use once you get the hang of it, and the large water reservoir allows for a full flossing session without constant refilling. It does take up some counter space (or you can keep it in a drawer like I do) and makes a bit of noise, but neither is a deal-breaker. I personally love it, and my husband—who was convinced it was just a gimmick—is very impressed as well. After only a couple of uses, he’s already noticed his plaque looks significantly better. Overall, it’s a practical and effective upgrade to brushing that makes flossing easier and more consistent.

Like a sandblaster in your mouth! And that's a good thing. I'm on my 4th unit since Jan 2019
Original review: Only had this a few days (as a Deal of the Day) and I'm impressed by how much "stuff" it blasts out of the gaps in my ageing maw. The build quality feels cheap to me, very cheap. Creaking plastic, rattling motor and an unnecessarily stiff tube from main unit to flosser, the latter making things a bit more awkward to move around your mouth than necessary. The plastic feel and rattling doesn't inspire hope for its longevity, but if it last a year, I'll be both surprised and I'll update this brief review with positivity. In terms of usage, I find the default "middle" power setting to be best. I'd really avoid sandblasting on the highest setting! :-) So: 5 stars for doing the job it was intended to do; 3 stars for apparent build quality (although I may be maligning it unfairly). Edit: 5th May, 2020: It lasted more than a year, in fact it lasted 16 months. However it "died" last night. You plug it into the shaver socket and the two lights flicker like they are shorting out and that's it, it won't turn on. I stand by every point of my review above: it's great at removing stuff, but it is a cheap and nasty build quality. I've ordered another because I can't see myself without it now as part of my teeth cleaning regimen. Let's see how long the new one will last. Edit: 17th January, 2024. I'm on my fourth unit now as my third failed last night. So that's three units that have failed in almost exactly 5 years. I've just bought yet another -- my fifth -- as a spare while on offer. These units fail after roughly a year to 18 months, but when they work, they work very well and I wouldn't be without it.

Great product, good for removing small food particles
This is my third Waterpik, my previous one having broken after about 10 years use. This is an essential part of my teeth cleaning routine and I hate being without one. This one cost about the same as my last one but does just as good a job. The highest pressure it produces is not quite as high as my last one but then I never needed to use that and this one produces enough pressure for my liking and also has a massage function. The footprint is a bit smaller than my last one so is easier to fit beside the bathroom sink.
