I use a standard 12v DC adapter that I had lying around from an old external HDD though you can buy them new for £5.99. **Q: Can i have a link to an main adapter that will work with these lights - so far all the plugs ive tried with them burn out but not on other leds i own.** A: I'm not quite sure what the question is, but the power input range is fairly wide, something like 6.5 to 17V if memory serves me right, so I have used both a 9V and a 12V mains adaptor (not, please note, a charger) with success. The output of the mains adaptor doesn't make any difference to the light output. So as long as the mains adaptor is of the correct polarity (positive and negative) any adaptor of 9 to 12V ought to work. Super little gadget and the quality of the light (its softness) is beautiful. I have only tried it for still photography; I have no idea how well it works for video. I buy my mains adaptors on our local flea market for about a quid each!
