Extreme smooth and comfortable. It also has an excellent drag - 22lbs. I don’t know of many reels of this size that pack that kind of a drag. Most are half of that. I highly recommend this reel. Review: Great quality reel - Loving this reel. Paired it with a Dobyns maverick rod and fits great. It is good quality and buttery smooth. I got the 2000 and is more than enough line for bank fishing. Definitely worth the money. And it’s lightweight so that’s a plus. Functions 100%. ## Features - LEGALIS LT SPINNING REEL ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08VF83PMH | | Bearing Material Type | Aluminium | | Best Sellers Rank | 326,046 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 809 in Spinning Combos | | Brand | DAIWA | | Brand Name | DAIWA | | Colour | Multi-coloured | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 117 Reviews | | Fishing Line Type | Monofilament, Braided | | Fishing Reel Maximum Drag | 22 Pounds | | Fishing Technique | Castings | | Fishing technique | Castings | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00043178604939 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Hand orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Aluminium | | Included Components | Legalis LT Reel | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 25L x 25W x 25H millimetres | | Item Type Name | LEGALIS LT SPINNING REEL | | Item Weight | 7.2 Ounces | | Item weight | 7.2 Ounces | | Line Capacity | 210/0.25 | | Manufacturer | Daiwa | | Manufacturer Part Number | LEGLT2500D-XH | | Material | Blend | | Material Type | Blend | | Model Name | Leglt2500d-xh | | Model Number | LEGLT2500D-XH | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Lightweight | | Size | One Size | | UPC | 043178604939 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Bearing material:** Aluminium - **Brand:** DAIWA - **Colour:** Multi-coloured - **Fishing technique:** Castings - **Hand orientation:** Ambidextrous - **Handle material:** Aluminium - **Item weight:** 7.2 Ounces - **Material:** Blend - **Model name:** Leglt2500d-xh - **Special feature:** Lightweight ## Images ![Legalis LT Spinning Reel - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cBgY9nOVL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the knob riveted or screwed?** A: It is riveted and doesn't appear to be removable. **Q: Do y'all have a recommendation for a good saltwater rod to use with this? medium to mh action. i mostly fish inshore gulf (redfish, flounder, spots)** A: Check out “Falcon rods” I have 3 of their coastal model. Highly recommended. **Q: Is the T-Shaped handle on this modle screwed in or riveted in?** A: Riveted **Q: Where do u recommend to use this ?** A: I Would Stick to Using This Model In Any Fresh Water Fishing. Being That It's Not Sealed For Salt Water. Not Saying It Can't Be Used In Salt Water Fishing, But I Would Definitely Rinse If Used In Salt Water. If Fishing Salt Water, I Would Recommend The Daiwa Fuego Model. It Is Sealed Better! I Like My Legalis (s), I Have 5 In Different Sizes, And Would Recommend. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All you would ever need for most fresh water fishing experiences. *by B***E on 1 June 2026* Awesome reel.
