Silverline 633656 Lay Flat Hose 10m x 32 mm

Excellent as needed to attach to pond pump. Fitted it with a jubilee clip and it worked very well - long enough to discharge the water either into a drain or onto the garden well away from the pond. Glad I bought it and didn't struggle trying to get my garden hose attached to the pump. Well worth it.

Product arrived in good time. Hose is robust and stores well.

Bought this for our Kingfisher 400w Discharge Water Pump which we use to bail out our inflatable hot tub, the kid's large blow-up paddling pool and an above ground pond when needs must. Arrived very quickly and was well packaged. Fits quite tightly to the 32mm outlet of the pump and secured with a jubilee clip with no noticeable leaks. There were also no leaks along its length (and I was half expecting there to be one or two based on some of the reviews on here). Rolls up flat so packs away neatly. Does the job well (as long as you keep it relatively straight and absolutely kink-free when under pressure)... and despite being quite a thin gauge of pipe wall, it seems good quality and is definitely decent value.

Great hose. Never gives me any bother. Jubilee clipped to my dirty water pump for years now.

I used this hose to run through the house to an outside drain in the front garden and it was weeping water onto the carpet along its length. At first I thought it was condensation but upon closer inspection it was definately leaking through the wall from internal. The hose was unrolled inside so the hose wasn't damaged at any point inside the house, it just seems to be poorly made. For the sections outside the house they also seemed to pick up damage on the outside far too easily just moving them around on the patio. It didn't burst but I wasn't confident enough to leave the pump running without watching the hose closely! If you're going to use it once and throw away then for the price it's not too bad, but I wouldn't recommend as a long term investment or if you intend to route the hose through the house at any point.

Just what I needed to clean (backwash) the pool Filter. Only wish I had bought a slightly longer one 15 or 20 meters (my fault for not measuring the distance I needed and could have always cut shorter) (but I could always get another length and connector kit or a longer one if I really wanted). As other reviews have mentioned there is a chemical smell but I haven’t found it overpowering and hasn’t seemed to rub off on my hands and hopefully will disappear over time, but I do use this outside and only for a short period of time. I have it set up when backwashing by having the original filter hose (2m) screwed into the filter outlet then a reducer/enlarger type adaptor pushed into the other end of that hose then this one pushed onto that adaptor. (If I get a chance or remember next time I use I will upload a photo) You will also need something to secure to the adapter to ensure it doesn’t fall off. (But before I got this I was using around 4-5 other hosed all “Frankensteined” together. As you can imagine this was time consuming and cumbersome which resulted in me not always wanting to clean the filter when needed. Now no issues at all 😁).

Arrived on time and put to immediate use. Clearing out with the aid of new submersible pump, a dug out sump at rear of Garage which accumulates excess water from the garden area and takes it to a small pond downstream. Garden soil is very heavy clay which does not drain easily. Works very well, and have left it out disconnected from pump, during this very cold spell so hope the cold has not damaged it- hope to try in a couple of days when snow has finally thawed. Only minor issue is that it must be laid out in a straight line, any curves tend to cause a blocking kink for which water pressure is not high enough to open up.

Utilisé avec ma nouvelle pompe et fonctionne très bien. Facile à dérouler et réenrouler pour un rangement optimal.
