Works well and is built fairly well and is ideal for when you’ve got a PSU which has a fairly short 24-pin connector.

The power unit on my PC died and the replacement unit 4pin lead was not long enough to reach the motherboard socket. This was because the power unit was at the bottom of the case and not the usual top position. This extension lead fixed the problem. Saved having to piece out the cable - recommended.

So I purchased this for my old PC that was going strong, until my AX860 just up and died on me. So I dragged out my old 750W cooler PSU, chucked that in the case and the wire was just too short to reach through the back route. Instead for the time being I ran the wire straight up and purchased one of these. Wire connected easily and now I don't have a ghastly wire going straight up. Easy and simple to do and rather cheap. I have also have a old Zalman Z11 and a new EVGA PSU and one for that also.

like most other PC Builders, I found myself in a sticky situation. I had bought a Full Tower case, but the PSU CPU fan did not reach (due to the power socket of the fan being at the top). I ran it temporarily (i'll probably be shouted at for this) by having my PSU stand up on its side with the exhaust fan pointing out where it was meant to be screwed in. I ordered this as soon as I had found out that I couldn't plug the wire in. The free delivery took from Wednesday to Monday (3 days). I wasn't willing to pay first class - I'm constantly broke haha! The cable came suitably packaged, fitted and added on an extra length. I can not only have the PSU screwed in now, but I can manage this cable to allow air flow through my case now. Essential buy - if you're even thinking about getting it, just buy it ;)

While building a PC for some one I found that the power supply I had bought would not reach the 12v connector on the motherboard when mounted in the case so a quick search on Amazon it was. I found this connector and ordered it right away! The adapter came next day and worked as it was supposed to. The connector is good quality and a good buy!

Das Kabel hält der Strombelastung problemlos stand und bietet eine stabile und zuverlässige Verbindung. Der Einbau war denkbar einfach und schnell, da die Verlängerung perfekt zu den vorhandenen Anschlüssen passte. Dank dieser einfachen Lösung konnte ich meinen neuen Computer endlich in Betrieb nehmen, ohne zusätzliche Probleme. Die Qualität des Kabels ist hervorragend. Es wirkt robust und gut verarbeitet, was Vertrauen in die Langlebigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit schafft. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie unkompliziert der gesamte Prozess war – von der Bestellung bis zur Installation. Insgesamt bin ich äußerst zufrieden mit dem StarTech.com 20 cm ATX12V 4-Pin P4 CPU-Verlängerungskabel. Es ist eine einfache, aber äußerst effektive Lösung für zu kurze CPU-Kabel und hat mir ermöglicht, mein System ohne Komplikationen aufzubauen. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der ähnliche Probleme mit der Kabellänge hat.

Works great and is quiet. 430 Watt ATX12V 2.3 80 Plus. The 80 Plus means its supposed to be quiet and have been quality tested. After I bought it for $30.04, I went to buy another and the price was jacked to $45. Now its back to $32.97. I'd still rather deal with Amazon than newegg, after seeing so many negative reviews on those guy's customer service and never being able to get the rebate offered.
