Best earplugs I've used
I've used a number of different disposable earplugs over the past year through work, on the motorcycle and when inconsiderate housemates are noisy at night or ridiculously early in the morning (which is most days in the last two places I've lived). These are the most comfortable earplugs I've ever used, even slightly more comfortable than the other hearos ones. Great noise reduction. Only downside may be that they are quite large. I've not had a problem putting them in, but someone with smaller ear canals might; my girlfriend finds it difficult to get them to stay in, but I can't be certain she's getting them in far enough in the first place. I've found making the ends as pointy as you can makes it much easier to get them far enough into your ears to be effective and stay in properly. Pulling your ear lobes down and back with the opposite hand seems to be the recommended technique as well. Once you've got the technique down it takes just seconds to fit each side. I've been using these most nights now, they've been a godsend. Now I never have to worry about not being able to sleep due to noisy, inconsiderate people (who there seems to be an awful lot of in this world). I often used to sleep terribly when starting in hotels working away, as there's always someone with their TV on late at night, or someone who likes to get up at 6am and is incapable of not slamming their door when they leave their room. Idiots. Definitely recommend these if your looking for quality disposable earplugs. I doubt you'll find anything better.

"I need a hearo...."
"I need a hearo..." (cue Bonnie Tyler...) I have tried loads of different ear plugs - some quite expensive - some shaped like little cones, some rainbow coloured, some made of wax, etc; etc; These are the business! Comfortable to wear, they don't fall out, and they effectively block about 90% of extraneous noise: snoring partner, bass music from outside... Absolutely brilliant. I would just say - wear them consistently to get best effect. If you use them one night, but not the next, you don't get used to sleeping with them. Just stick em in every night, and I'm sure you'll be delighted. They squidge up nice and tight, and then unfurl quite strongly in the ear-drum: I used each pair for about a week, and after that they lose their 'bounce'. But - a bargain for a good night's sleep: just hope they never stop making them! "I need a hearo, I'm holding out for a hearo in the morning light..." (Sorry Bonnie)!

The Best for Me.
These plugs really are better than the rest IMHO. I was a bit worried when I saw they were made of similar material and of similar shape to others which have been hopeless for me. These are a much more dense foam, they all but eliminate my partner's snoring and work great when using a vacuum cleaner in confined spaces which is a nasty high frequency air movement noise. They are also surprisingly durable, I get about a month's wear assuming eight hours a night before they need replacing. Would probably protect you from excessive volume at events with amplified music, however like all general purpose ear plugs, they don't attenuate the frequencies evenly, so lots of roll-off in the high frequency.

Recommended as very comfortable but don't expect extreme silence.
As a light sleeper I sleep in ear plugs every night. I was using the 3M 1100 until now and was just wondering if something as expensive as Hearos advertising themselves as "extreme protection" would be even better. Not in my case. They're still dumping the sounds all around and eliminating most of high frequency humming noises but not as much as much cheaper 3Ms. On the upper side they're very very soft and you just forget that you have them in your ear and you can sleep without any discomfort that some other ear plugs cause (yes, again, 3Ms are one of those). Don't get me wrong - they're still very good but too expensive for what they offer.

The best one I ever had, soft and eliminating sounds very well.

New Hearos Extreme Protection
I have been using Hearos Extreme Protection Series earplugs for years, they have been by far the best quality and most effective at noise reduction at this price. These new design 'easy grip' are awful. The material they are now made from feels so cheap and flimsy compared to the far denser original earplugs. They claim the same 33db NRR as the original but I find that impossible to belive as they let in far,far more noise than their previous original counterparts. Like other long time customers I have no idea why Hearos have done this, the only likely candidate I can think of is to save money. Well it saddens me to say they've saved themselves from getting many more years of my money as I won't be buying them again, unless of course Hearos see sense and bring back the truly excellent product these earplugs once were.

FAB!
I have used Howard Light Laser lites for years. I use earplugs every single night, cant sleep without them as a mouse's fart could wake me and I've tried many dfferent brands of earplugs. The laser lites were the best or so I thought until I tried these. These are even better! They block out more noise, I've noticed consistently better sleep since wearing them especially if you put them in according to the instructions. They also last far longer, 5-7 days for one pair. The first night with a fresh pair they do feel a little bulky but from the second night they fit a little better so its worth perservering. I dont think I could be without these now and my laser lites have been shoved to the back of the bedside drawer!

They work!
The ear plugs really do work! My partner snores very loudly and, at last, I can get a good night's sleep.

YES!!! Blocks snoring!! Finally!! Better than Mack's!
I've tried almost every earplug available on here, disposable and reusable, silicone, foam etc for blocking out my husbands snoring. I've been using Mack's for the past 6 months, they're ok against light sounds, even when inserting them correctly and I was not reusing them (foam doesn't go back to full strength after use) and when the snoring was super bad I would use them + my AirPod maxes with white noise. If I fell asleep before him the Mack's were ok but if he was close to me I could still hear him breathing smfh. So another sleepless night I was pissed and found these to try. They're AMAZING. I was skeptical because they're only 1 NRR above Mack's but that plus the increased width and better foam density makes these A MUST BUY. Even if he is medium snoring I can't hear it so I can fall asleep first before the snoring is god awful. Also, I have to have my phone alarm all the way up to hear it and even then it's still hard to hear. Definitely will buy these forever, please don't change them!

Top quality
Really great plugs, you can feel the quality. I can't actually wear them , as they ar too thick/wide for my ear canals and am awaiting ear canal surgery to widen things up. I'll update once I'm healed from surgery and can insert them. Looking forward to it immensely.

Sono degli ottimi tappi per orecchie
Tappi molto morbidi e comodi.
