Fixman 995311 Bolt Down Post Shoe 75 x 75 mm, Brown

Sturdy and well made. Best price I could get

Absolutely solid products the only slight minus is that it does not have a hole in the side to make sure the post stays in place (as in a screw hole to screw into the wood) but tbh that really is not necessary the bolts once tightened do a rock solid job perfectly . Here is a little tip when placing the post holder on the floor or the decking or whatever surface you are securing to … if it isn’t straight/ level simply use washers underneath each corner and you can add/remove until eventually you get the correct perfect level (hopefully that makes sense).

Very high quality product. Looks like it would last for years. I wold not use them for a tall wooden fence because the base plates are a little thin so the fence would more wobbly, but secure, than posts that were fixed in the ground. I used them for 5' hight support posts for trelles and they are fine.

You are only going to buy these if you actually know what it is and need one..... so other than the fact that they are very good quality and value for money compared to the high street, there is not much to say. They are good quality thick steel and take the weight of a fence post and panel without any problems. I actually sanded mine down to paint black, but the coating is also very good quality and will protect the steel for many years. I think you will be replacing panels before one of these!

I have these amd my daughter wanted them for her dad make her a shelter for the hot tub she loves it always buy these then you digging and covering post with concrete as where the wood will rot in these wood wouldn't rot as quickly

Whilst i made these work, they did not have consistent holes drilled in the base plate in each corner to anchor to the floor, only had 3 holes and different per shoe. This made them wobble once the upright post was in the ground. Whilst i bought brown, black option would also be better.

Good quality same as the big stores.

Good price and on appearance looks value, the only thing which disappointed was that a small weld broke around the baseplate when tightening the bolts onto a timber post. This did not affect my situation, but may weaken the shoe if the inserted post is subject to continual pressure.

The designed area for bolt is in very wrong place where the wrench doesn't fit it took me 30 minutes for fiting a bolt also I have serious doubts about stability
