Review: Use for decorating - I am using these to help get into tight spots whilst decorating. There is always a little tiny bit to be reached or tiny bits between sockets and skirting board. I also like to use them ongoing to touch up dots of paint when walls have been knocked. If you use a normal size brush to touch up, it quite often shows especially if its quite a few months after painting but if you do a few small dots of paint it usually doesn't notice at all. I've just read some other reviews and felt I had to add that these brushes are a bit stiff when first out of the packet but I just gave them a rub on my jeans and they were fine. Maybe if you are using for artist painting then perhaps buy a dearer set. For what I want or the grandchildren having a paint they are fine and I would buy again. ## Features - Ideal for hobbies, crafts or fine detail - Use with all types of paint and varnishes - 10 brush pack, various sizes ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002MXUWV0 | | Best Sellers Rank | 67,488 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 403 in Bristle Brushes | | Brand | Harris | | Brand Name | Harris | | Bristle Type | Synthetic | | Bristle type | Synthetic | | Colour | Black and Silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 474 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05000253002863 | | Handle Type | Dowel Handle | | Included Components | paint brushes | | Item Part Number | 286 | | Item Type Name | Taskmaster Artist 10 Brush Set | | Item Weight | 41 g | | Manufacturer | LG Harris | | Manufacturer Part Number | 286 | | Material | Synthetic | | Material Type | Synthetic | | Model Number | 286 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Paint Type | Watercolour | | Set Name | Harris 286 Artists Brush Set | | Size | L | | Unit Count | 10.0 count | ## Product Details - **Colour:** Black and Silver - **Size:** L - **Brand:** Harris - **Bristle type:** Synthetic - **Manufacturer:** LG Harris ## Images ![Harris 286 Artists Brush Set (Pack of 10) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Yad03CH0L.jpg) ![Harris 286 Artists Brush Set (Pack of 10) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61rydxHAfGL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are the brushes ment to be hard, like I need to wash them before use** A: Didn't wash mine & they were fine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Painter fave ! *by J***N on 4 October 2026* Great as a present to member of family who paints. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Use for decorating *by K***N on 30 March 2018* I am using these to help get into tight spots whilst decorating.
