Does it have dedicated volume control? I.e. can I plug it straight into a power amp?

The volume is output (fixed) at max if you connect from the rca line output. The volume is output variable, using the MusicCast app to control it, if you connect from the 3.5mm stereo mini plug aux output. If you connect via both methods at the same time then the aux takes priority and the rca gets zero volume output. You may be able to connect to a power amp and vary the volume using a 3.5mm stereo mini plug to twin rca plugs type cable and the MusicCast app.

Does it support multiroom with airplay 2

No, only old good AirPlay 1, but it sounds high end, theres audiophile grade DAC inside (Burr Brown)

Allegedly yamaha products are getting amazon music update so it will be fully supported not just via bluetooth. Is wxad10 one of those products?

I've been onto Yamaha and the best I can get out of them is no, either buy a more expensive Yamaha streamer or just hope and it MIGHT turn up in a future firmware.....no definitive answer, which is strange because if anyone would know you'd think it would be Yamaha, as it is I may have we'll have just asked my mother.
