It didn’t leak when I rinsed and tested it and the opening mechanism is really kid friendly and secure (again not road tested by kids yet!) and keeps the drinking spout as clean as is possible with kids. I took a star off as the strap is fabric and I think it’ll get quite dirty and be hard to keep clean so it may get cut off down the road. A rubbery strap would be more hygienic although probably not as long lasting. All things considered it’s a well made item and the pink and blue colors are nice, not garish. Will update after a bit of use, am sure the kids (5 and 7) will like them and be well able to use. Updated review from 4 to 5 stars after a full summers use and almost a school term. No leaks and the kids have not gone easy on them.
