Ideal!
Ideal shin protectors for a multitude of contact sports. Says one size but inside, it states L. these wouldn't fit someone with small legs, as I believe they are more a M/L but they are very stretchy. I am a woman size 10, and these fit me and my partner who's a size 36 waist. There is a Velcro band around the top to tie them tighter if required. Cover both the top of the foot and the length of the shin. Are pulled on like a sock, which I prefer in comparison to the pads which have many straps. Can be machine washed and came with washing instructions but I habent tried this yet. Bright colour and comfortable. I am impressed for the price. Only improvement would be a mesh bag to store them and air them after use.

Never changing good quality products
I have been using these shinnies since ... forever I feel. they are good, simple and last. 4 years and now they only tore, but that is because I was using them without mercy. the quality cannot be challenged y other companies I feel - perhaps RDX, one of the guys has them and he sais they are fine, but otherwise, everyone is just using Venum now because they last. the price for these shinnies has gone down lately, so I would definitely recommend buying them over other brands, but completely up to your own preference. if you have a tight budget or are unsure if this type of sport is for you, get RDX, they might be cheaper. :) but these you can wash in the washing machine - that's awesome!

Good pads
These are great for the money you pay for them. The only thing I found with them is that in full contact sparring they are still a little thin on the padding, if someone puts an elbow in the way of your kick it will hurt and bruise your shin. I keep these for light sparring and have upgraded to a thicker, leather pair for full contact sparring and this seems to work well for me. The newer leather pair offer much more protection but are twice the past so these are great value for money.

Don’t buy unless you have more money to spend on pads
These pad are good although within the first session of mma I’ve had in my gym with them, they have a few threading issues as I seem to be getting little bits of cotton on the back of my foot where it slips onto. Otherwise I have a machine to get rid of them, but I think it’s only because it was my first session. But you get good quality from these pads and the durability is great! I recommend! But please, If you have more money to spend I suggest get hard foam pads as they protect more.

Comfortable and effective
They're fairly thick, you can still feel through them but you should. If you want total protection you need the BIG shin guards with Velcro fastenings on the back but these are really pretty uncomfortable. I'm 5ft 3 inch and a bit chunky if I'm honest and they fit well, I think someone with slim calves will find them a bit loose and if they're loose they will move about. I think they're too big for kids. They're a bit hard at first because you need to wear them in and they'll mould round your leg better after a few days.

Okay
Okay. Used for Thai boxing. Better using a better quality. Very lightweight and not much protection on the shin. Front shin guard often swung round the back of the leg due to the lack of secure. Would recommend a shin guard with a strap that wraps around the back of the leg with a velcro.

No broken shins! Buy it!
Perfect bit of kit for my son's MMA. He says they fit well, padded as expected and they look cool! match the rest of his kit even though bought separately. Recommended

Excellent for MMA
I've been using these for MMA for a while now. Wanted to wait to give it a good run for their money before posting a review. I can now safely say, they are excellent. They don't look like they are going to protect you much because other shinguards look harder and have this gloss finish. But these have excellent high quality padding and I think they provide better control in kicks because they are light. Definitely would recommend
